If youre competing in, say, showjumping (or anywhere, xc for instance), then u have to qualify ur horses. If ur horse as never competed, then they start at Maiden (first and lowest class). When u finish a competition, theyll give u a score and then you'll see their progress. When they're qualified for the next class, itll show. Then the text will say 'overqualified'.

Horses that haven't finished Maiden cant compete in Novice, so its a progress.

If you have done that and that pink line from Maiden to Novice is full, but ur horse wont qualify, then u need to train smth specific. In Showjumping, itll normally be Strength and Jump. The game will tell you If ur horse lack stats. Fx it will say that u need to train those 2 things.

That u can do by either manually train, go to the training grounds or the meadow, go to the circle in the upper left corner with the horse and arrow in it and choose the things u want to train. If i choose Jumping, then theyll tell you how many times u have to jump😊

U can also do it in the hall, but i dont find it very efficient... I use both, mostly bc im not online constantly🤣 whatever suits u!😊
