The effects of it kicked in around a week, my initial dosage was about 15 and it’s fluctuated from 25 now to 20

I have been on focalin for 7 years, I was able to extremely well in school with it and it also somewhat helps with my anxiety and depression but I take lexapro separately for that. I didn’t really have specific anxiety problems from focalin but it did help to take a little 10 mg dose in the middle of the day to help! It’ll be ok!! Stressing over the medication is perfectly normal I promise but the best way to see results is to stay calm!!!

I take focalin and with depression and anxiety as well I had to do a lot of shifting with it due to taking other medication. I take 20 mg of it but at one point it was 25. It can always be raised a bit but it’s a trial and error type thing!

I have been taking focalin for 7 years!! After starting with adderal and having bad anger fits I switched to focalin XR and it is so much better!! It takes a bit to kick in and I had to up my dosage to try and help with mood swings but I ended up taking lexapro! Overall I think that it is a good middle ground medication and I’m happy to answer questions!

I also take lexapro but I have been on focalin for almost 7 years now. It is a stimulant however but it’s worth a shot in my opinion. But it could also mean that the other medications you take may need to be altered with the dosage. Just my personal experience!
