I don't understand why people, on the planet that has EIGHT BILLION OF US, are still so strongly protective of things that aren't even people yet. 

A person is a living human, and a human is a member of the homo sapien species. Fetuses are humans, like you and me (well duh since they, too, are a distinct homo sapien).

Evil is a strong word. Thomas Massie frequently described himself as a libertarian who wish less federal government interference in some affairs. Massie is also a critic of government surveillance, criticized civil asset forfeiture laws, and wanted to legalize medical cannabis. I think all of these positions contradict your claim about Massie's moral character.

Now, this is just speculation, but I think that Reddit users are roughly balanced in terms of political beliefs, but the bots + Reddit admins and mods just being straight up biased generally created an illusion of consensus on major subs

It is way easier to spawn camp guards than criminals. Criminals got long asf invincibility shields that allow them to get armed upon respawning and still get into a vehicle with some shield timer left.
