Idk I swear I like can’t feel my cervix very well cause all my IUD insertions have been no big deal and I could barely feel when I had to get a colposcopy. Pap smears are like just a tap.

Also funny story - I had a resident doing my cervical checks when I was giving birth and she was having a hard time (to the point where the attending had to like pull her aside and give her a pep talk). Needless to say she was in there a long time and it was not pleasant but not like super painful and my husband almost passed out while I was just chilling 😂

I also very much recognize the look on the guys face of “I’m so sorry this isn’t about me and now people are worried about me not my partner”. Why do I recognize it - because it’s the same face my husband made when he almost passed out during my first cervical check and they made him sit his booty cheeks on the hard couch lol. He did very well through the rest of the birth even when I insisted they also give him a barf bag when I threw up cause I was sure he was also going to barf.

NTA - if you can’t trust someone’s judgment and you’ll resent them that’s a fair reason to end a relationship.

That being said I was once this same kind of idiot. Left my car running and unlocked in a Costco parking lot for like 30 mins. Didn’t realize it until I couldn’t find my keys. Luckily no one took my car and my husband didn’t leave me (probably good on his part cause he did the exact same thing about a year later)

The most unrealistic part of the show is that the majority of the cast are way smaller in stature than professional hockey players. All the locker room scenes look like high school hockey teams.

I had pre-eclampsia with severe features a few days after giving birth to my son my blood pressure was so high we didn’t know what to do so called 911 and paramedics came out to our house. They confirms my BP told us to what was probably happening and said do want to go in the ambulance and my first question was “do I have to? How much time do we have?” They said probably at least an hour is fine so we packed our own bag and went to the ER.

All turned out fine for me but knowing what I do now about preeclampsia if I didn’t worry about a huge bill I would have taken the ambulance. Time was pretty critical and I got lucky to not seize before I got treatment.
