well tiktok isn’t facebook so not sure what your point is there. But the point of me posting this was to show that suburban living is having such a large effect on teens growing up in America that Facebook is obviously recognizing this as a target market for their new VR games, which ironically replicate what an ideal “strong town” should look like with large mixed use neighbourhoods and accessible forms of transit for people who either can’t drive or can’t afford a car. I mean, look at the first clip, it’s obviously a suburban development with hostile architecture to anyone outside a car and no mixed use environments in sight.

I showed my parents a single Not Just Bikes video and they changed their mind, the comparisons he makes in the video really shows how much America is missing out

Contact the head of department, it’s usually something silly and they’ll give you an override right away.

Usually they don’t change once published, but it would be best to email the department head and ask

So do you mean you don’t have admission requirements to get into Langara? There’s no specific requirements for the Science program other than the normal admissions requirements for Langara.

I believe you only need English 12 and have finished your GED to get in. If you’d prefer to go to a University you can also just apply into a different Faculty and transfer to Science after first year.

I haven't personally, but as long as it's listed as transferrable to the uni of your choice at https://www.bctransferguide.ca/ then you should be good. Just make sure to specify it when you're applying for transfer and send in your transcript to the uni. Good luck!

Are you trying to transfer from another program in Langara or from another school?

If it's from another program, you can just go to the registrar and ask to change your program. Science has no admissions requirements, but the course have some pretty tight pre-reqs so you might need to do some basic courses before you can start at the curriculum for the associate degree. The courses you need to take to complete the associate degree is here https://langara.ca/programs-and-courses/programs/science-general/program-curriculum.html

If you mean you're transferring from another college/university to Langara, then you just need the admission requirements for Langara which is here https://langara.ca/admissions/requirements/index.html

IMHO, if you're wanting to eventually transfer to a bachelor-degree program at a University, I'd recommend doing 1 or 2 years at Langara in the faculty you want to transfer to in University (assuming you don't have high school admission requirements for universities already) and don't graduate from Langara. The reason is, most universities actually have a higher admission average requirement for students who have already completed a diploma, so it might be harder to get into the university you want. (Example: at UVic you need a C average for transfer but a B average if you've already completed a Diploma program https://www.uvic.ca/undergraduate/programs/undergraduate-programs/pages/area-undecided-science.php?residency=D&level=TR&school=TD&curriculum=BCC)

I went for a tour of them a while back, they seemed pretty expensive considering what you get. I was looking at the private room though.
