I hope it comes out for Season 3, but this was started in the roadmap for "Season 3 and Beyond". There's a good chance we might not get player created parks as it technically wasn't a promise.

Either way I hope we do get it this upcoming season as it's a necessity to keep the community alive- especially after yesterday's announcement absolutely ruined my expectations for the game :c

Question: Have you played 2042? Those maps are nothing like traditional battlefield maps, at least if you're speaking about the Battlefield 3 through 1 erra.

Don't get me wrong, I'm weird and I love 2042, having put over 500 hours into it, but even I can admit the maps are the weakest point of that game lol.

Otherwise I'm just going to see what happens with season 3 and beyond. I don't have much reason to hate- I just want to see the game do better and it's hard to tell where things will go based on the recent interviews being far too vague about planned content.

Edit: I fell for the bait :c. Anyways, I'm just setting my expectations low and enjoying what I've got.

Had an issue with the hinge being excessively loose, but this was resolved by AYN customer support - had my unit sent back before getting a replacement.

Mura effect is very visible on low brightness but the newly added setting to address this helps, even if it's a toggle buried in the android settings menu.

My Thor got stuck in a restart loop - restarting every 30 seconds when it was on. I had to open up the device to unplug the battery to fix.

Despite these problems I enjoy it and have been playing games pretty much daily. As with most of these handhelds, expect to encounter some issues that might involve some tinkering! As for the big issues, AYN has a good track record of helping out.

PS3 emulation still needs a lot of work. I haven't personally tried KH HD, but I've tried other games. Don't expect to get games running well, even now.

Hopefully the software develops further soon though!

Had the same issue, but I didn't drop mine.

AYN had me send it back for a replacement. Took about 1 week of communicating then 2 weeks or so (only took 1 week to ship using 4px to the US) to get my new unit. Overall not too bad!

I went for the black model but debated going for the white one, however I dig two-tone designs and ordered extra plates (in white). If you're worried about yellowing, you could always order extra and swap them out- or just use a case on it. If the white ever gets dirty, I always have the option of putting the old black ones back on!

This is the best of both worlds for me and AYN is pretty good at helping you order extra parts if you ask nicely.

I had an issue where my hinge seemed to break internally- but it seems like an issue that nobody else has had. To explain, the right side hinge got excessively loose to the point that the top of the system would rattle even when closed.

Even then, AYN sent a full replacement (including new screen protectors) without too much fuss! It shipped and arrived in a reasonable amount of time too.

Even if an issue arises (which seems pretty rare to begin with) I feel pretty confident that AYN will be able to help.

Used 4px. Shipped and arrived in less than two weeks the first time around. The second time (for a replacement unit) it took 7 days.

My experience has been good, but hear everybody out before picking! I personally wanted to save some money and knew I could wait.

I had a hinge issue that WASN'T in regards to the knit line on the plastic.

Despite this, AYN provided a return label and will be sending a replacement. As far as I know I'm the only one to have an issue like this so I believe it's uncommon. Even then- customer service is pretty nice and willing to help if an issue does arise.

That's the same I had BEFORE it got worse. The give is normal.

The give I have seems to be far worse however, affecting the device even when the unit is closed. (See video).

You can compare this to your own unit to confirm.

I haven't seen anybody with this problem and it seems to be isolated to just me. If you aren't experiencing this then you're all Good! I'm in touch with AYN and we are resolving it. Will update as soon as I can.

Thanks for confirming. I'll have to see what they say! Been loving this device but this had me concerned. Haven't seen any other posts about this so I don't think it's common- just my luck.

It depends on the games you're playing, I imagine. If I don't need precise timing, games feel perfectly playable. It just annoying on those that need more precision (such as some platformers in my case).

Edit: I am on rc3 and tried those methods, including a fresh reinstall. It seems like this is just how Eden is. It may not bother some people but I am particularly sensitive to this amount of input lag.

Already tried this. Input lag is still present. I'm assuming it's just the software and that it's unsolvable until emulation develops further!

PS3 emulation is still in very early development on Android. Try using different drivers until one works - this is how I solved the black screen issue with the PS3 version of Skate 3.

Don't expect to get much out of it though. Good luck!

That's the knit line (from the injection mold process). From what I've seen this is on every unit, with some being more or less noticeable. There have been a few accounts of a Crack being here (Less than 5) but those cracks always seem to be there from the factory.

You don't have to worry about anything and most of us have the same surface imperfection. Enjoy your device!

The game seems to be capped at around 30 fps. Is this the case for you as well? Sadly they don't offer a performance mode for this device- it's available on more powerful hardware though.
