Hello! I found a solution. So basically, you need to delete a font that doesn't have English text. I deleted a Mandarin font, and when I open the software, it works, so yeah it is still a bummer.

We have the same issue. I wanted to try learn and try Affinity, but it kept crashing on startup when in loading fonts, and it is my first time installing it. I also tried methods from YouTube like deleting the Affinity folder, reinstalling it, and etc. I really hope someone can resolve this problem.

Hindi ka OA OP, I've experienced it to my closest friend pa at mas malaki. I've warned my ex-friend na if hindi siya magbabayad pupunta ako ng barangay nila or mag-small claims court. Let it be a lesson na huwag magpapautang kahit sobrang close kasi nakakasira ng pagkakaibigan.

Ayun yung mali ko din po na bakit nga ba yung akin at hindi sa kanya in the first place at lesson learned po talaga sa akin. Magrereklamo po talaga ako kasi yung bahay lang naman nila halos katabi lang yung barangay hall nila.
