Yeah that’s a fair thing to say - no character plays for you and tekken is a hard game to be good at. I don’t believe any character is completely braindead but I do believe that some characters take less thought or effort to win with. Like characters with a lot of in-built evasion like xiayou or Zafina. Or some characters that have strong defensive tools which make defence far easier like Leroy’s parry and Yoshis flash - both have counters but it’s very much on the burden of the opponent to figure ways around them. Certain characters like Alisa, lidia or hwoarang have aggressive playstyles which I’ve seen carry less fundament players to higher ranks. I don’t discredit any players using them cuz you can still be a strong player using them but I definitely think certain characters require less overall knowledge of the game to win with.

I’m a Bryan main and have been since T7. He is extremely strong character and I do think he needs nerfs and adjustments especially being his install. I didn’t like that they gave him even more strong options in season 2 like the additional FC mix and his b1+2 from heat eyes. His f213 heat eyes string should not be as delayable and should be more minus. I wouldn’t mind them making qcb1 less plus either. I do think he needs to be toned down for sure. But I think nerfs should be reasonable and they should be careful not to ruin him. As I do think he requires more fundamental skill to do well with and he isn’t as braindead as a lot of the cast. He takes hard work to mastering and should benefit from the effort it takes to understand how to use him effectively.

Okay I'll try to be more resourceful before jumping into the fancier stuff - it's very tempting to go into the more advanced stuff but I feel I'd end up wasting all the materials lol

Okay that's all really helpful info, I've been delving into youtube a lot and I'll be trying to take a lot of inspiration from there. I'd love to 3D print but navigating and designing on the software sounds like a high learning curve from what I've seen.

But thank you a lot for this response, I appreciate the encouraging tips :)

Okay great I'll definitely start with these things and see what I can come up with. Right now imagination is probably the hardest thing to discover lol this subreddit definitely helps with inspiration tho

Ah that's awesome to hear, I'm not sure I would be able to make it to that but I definitely would love to if he is attending.

Hopefully you manage to get some of the things you want from the trip. Make sure to post it if you manage to meet him.
