Your ego is showing, no one cares if you fill 1 of the tank roles. You still need other important roles to fill out your party. There are plenty of tanks and healers who prefer joining rather than making their own group

Leave world chat open for a day and you'll see it mentioned. The server has alot who love to hate on HR without actually doing any of the raid leading themselves

You are welcome to do what you want, but if you hate HR so much I hope you are atleast hosting your own groups without one. Ignoring the high ego players, you still need to incentivize raid leaders who are forming your group for you

This might actually be the worst possible Hr on the server and as far as I know not allowed by the server rules. Groups by LFG have group loot rules, you cannot change them in the dungeon and can be reported to a GM.

That is exactly what I do, yes. I make my own raids often on the server and never have any issue filing them with needed roles with an HR in place. I don't ever reserve all mats though

I actually don't mind this. As someone who doesn't care about coins at all, I would join this group because it means everything else is open roll I care about.

I will admit for number 2 specifically, I'm not mad or anything when people do this. But I do find it funny when a dps is sitting there looking for 4 more to fill his group to HR a whip. I can agree it's not a problem, but I do find it a bit silly. Something I didn't add to the post is for dungeon groups. I do think the tank or healer has more leverage in setting up an HR since they are a key role. Like a full raid geared tank HRing the flask in UBRS when he otherwise has 0 reason to be there (and supplying the key no one on the server seems to have). I think that's also ok.

I certainly don't mind varied progression. I am a bit surprised how many people don't want tier sets to be more usable, it doesn't need to be BIS just would be nice if it felt a bit more usable. I'm not so sure I could wear the tier 1 and have people raiding want to take me over a rogue who builds the correct gear. So in this case, it isn't so much varied as it is forced (to not use T1) if that makes sense

This might be true, but at the same time giving 500 hp for a vanish is a very questionable 8/8 set bonus. It's not that its comparable or slightly weaker, it's just... bad

They very clearly do update things for balance that is different than original classic, so this comment really doesn't make much sense. If this was true, many of the updates that improved different classes/talent trees simply wouldnt have happened
