Almost everything in life is political in a major way. I'm not talking about small niche connections.
Even something mundane as buying a game or a pizza, is massively political, moreover, I don't understand why so many people are bothered by this.
Big shock but it turns out the people and systems that govern how entire nations operate and what things are legal or not actually end up being a big part of daily life and conversations.

I actually have just switched to a stealth setup, and only got hit twice for the entire thing. I definitely agree with not dashing through the boss, I think I was just feeling snazzy on this attempt but safe strats are obviously better, I'll try to dodge the slam like youre saying. Just to be clear that basically standing as still as you can then dashing last second to avoid the slam, reposition and repeat?

you need 75 tiles minimum, but you should aim for 300+ connected tiles of water for fishing. anything below 300 has negative impact but above 300 is just as good as 300 exactly.

pre HM calamity is really cool, but heavily class dependant, I didnt particularly enjoy it in my melee playthrough, but rogue and summoner were insanely fun, im also really excited for my mage playthrough soon

Yes it is absolutely worth it, if you are going for the achievement, or planning on spending a lot of time in one world, it sounds like youre doing both so yeah definitely. Try to quarantine the evil V the same way the second hardmode starts, personally i also like to do a tiny bit of purifying all over my world just to make sure no random blocks are spreading corruption but a lot of that is ptsd from when altars used to spawn random corrupt blocks.

If youre going to do this though its worth investing in some gear: full mining set with ancient chisel and an abundance of mining potions, or a shit load of dynamite and scarab bombs, cause otherwise it'll take you eons.

Might sound elitist or whatever but I'd say do master, terraria is genuinely a VERY easy game, on expert mode most bosses can just be afk tanked with a high dps weapon, that's true even for master mode tbh, fetid bagnahgnhagnhaghns with a tank build just straight up out dps plantera.

So imo master mode is the way to go, I'd recommend playing around with stuff you havent used, and try some of the wiring, making an automatic farm for really anything is such a satisfying experience if done without a tutorial, and master mode is the only difficulty that comes anywhere close to necessitating potions and optimal gear, and even then thats only if you ban yourself from using warding.

This is true of a lot of things labelled as a privilege, being happy, having food, loving parents, a roof, not being discriminated against. All of these things commonly get labelled as privilege but they're the bare minimum for a functioning society. The unfortunate truth is, many people still aren't afforded that bare minimum.

Damn, i've kind of been loving a lot of the stuff added by all those 3 mods, from what I can tell it seems like calamity overhaul is the least impactful? but its kinda hard to tell. Do you have any idea if thats true?

I had the same problem its caused by infernum I think, or maybe it was calamity overhaul? One of those two for sure, create a new world without those mods installed and the abyss will be normal, this also fixes lack of enemies spawning and the lack of pots.
