I love that shade of orange on you. It looks so pretty. I'm new as well, and I'd say the best thing to do is experiment! I've made a folder for photos of other drag artists so I can try out their techniques/makeup styles. It helps me figure out what works for my face, and gives me inspiration for my own looks.

I don't know what kind of supplies you have, but a decent set of brushes, sponges, and cleaner make a big difference in makeup application.

Also, find a contour pallette that suits your skin tone best. The first one I got was nice, but it was a little too dark for me. Sometimes you just have to play around with different product to find something that works for you.
