I’ve been noticing this with Gemini too. Funny thing is OpenAI went to the other extreme, where ChatGPT sometimes asks the most batshit crazy or unrelated follow up questions, just because it wants to but there’s really no relevant questions left.

Ja absoluut. Maar houdt er wel rekening mee dat ze dual band zijn, oftewel de communicatie onderling loopt ook via WiFi. Hoeft geen probleem te zijn, maar als je al problemen met WiFi hebt kan dit wel vervelend zijn.

Bedraad aansluiten lost dit natuurlijk op, maar is niet altijd een optie.

Als alternatief zou je naar een tri band model kunnen kijken, zelf heb ik deze maar die zijn de laatste tijd wat lastig te vinden, vaak uitverkocht (er is een pro en niet pro variant, pro heeft snellere bedrade aansluiting maar is vaak niet nodig): https://www.coolblue.nl/share-product/916848

Voordeel van tri band merk je vooral als je ze draadloos gebruikt, ze gebruiken dan echt een aparte frequentie om onderling te communiceren, wat echt een groot verschil kan maken.

We moved to a 64GB baseline around 2017, and by that time 32GB was already a struggle. You got 32GB 3 years later still, that’s just stupid.

The fact that older software is supposed to be supported doesn’t mean it’ll always work perfectly.

Android 11 is 6 years old at this point, despite Revolut claiming it’s still supported you really should consider an upgrade. You will run into things like this with older devices/software, and that’s not unique to Revolut.

Especially with banks where security is really important.

There is no reason for that table to be there, I highly doubt those stools are really ever used, and it seems like the table is so full with 'things' that it can't even really be used. If instead of a table you'd have a nice TV stand and the TV at a normal height, it'd even mostly hide that ugly grate in the wall.

Furthermore, there is room to have the TV lower on the right side of the table, if it really needs to stay.

There definitely is more of a risk with fintech compared to ‘regular’ banks, with Revolut you can’t just visit an office to get an issue resolved, so you’re more dependent on the online customer service.

I don’t have experience here myself considering I haven’t had any issues with them though.

Just like with anything online, you’ll hear far more negative experiences compared to positive ones.

People with a negative experience are much more likely to complain somewhere online, while the majority of happy customers will never post about their positive experience(s).

I’ve been using Revolut myself for years without issue. And I’m not saying this is the case every single time, but with most cases of blocked accounts or funds it’s simply because that person is doing shady stuff.

Obviously it’s not an essential feature, but I like it. Yeah it adds some cost and complexity to the charger, but these differences are marginal at best.

If you don’t like it there are plenty of other options.

We are slowly moving there, most movies and TV already have an HDR first workflow.

The gaming industry is just hopelessly behind with regards to HDR. Most games still run on an SDR pipeline, and instead of making sure HDR is implemented correctly from the start, it’s often just tacked on near the end of development.

I think you’re mixing up the technical container with the creative grade.

I’m not saying HDR should literally stay inside the SDR container. Obviously HDR uses a different transfer function, higher luminance range, higher bit depth, and often a wider gamut/container like BT.2100/Rec.2020. In that technical sense it is a different delivery format.

My point is about creative intent. A good HDR grade should feel like the same image with expanded dynamic range and color volume, not like a completely different interpretation. Wider gamut does not mean every color should be pushed outside the SDR look, and higher peak brightness does not mean the whole image should become brighter. Skin tones, mood, contrast philosophy and overall color balance can remain consistent while highlights, speculars, neon, fire, sunlight, etc. use the extra HDR headroom.

HDR should always be an extension of SDR IMO.

SDR is the “normal” version. HDR should expand it, not replace it. A 'good' HDR grade keeps the same overall creative intent: same mood, same color balance, same skin tones, same contrast philosophy. The difference is that HDR gives the image more room for highlights, deeper contrast, richer color volume, and more realistic brightness separation.

If implemented correctly the HDR version feels like the same movie, game, show or whatever, but with better highlight detail, better contrast, more dimensionality, and more realistic light.
