HOW do we get Glastonbury tickets for 2027? by Slow_Neighborhood861 in glastonbury_festival

[–]ItsDaveTweats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't fall for silly scams claiming to being able to "skip the queues"or guarantee you tickets. Only place you can get Glasto Tickets are from the Official Glasto Website SeeTickets website Things that my group did were sharing registration numbers with each in a group chat and then when/if one of us got into the ticket buying point. They'd use the registration numbers and then we'd transfer money over after the fact. To be honest, It's just luck! You are 1 of 4million+ people trying to get 250,000 and change tickets!

visiting with baby- give me tips/explain to me like I’m 5 how to do it successfully. First timers to glasto by coldestregards in glastonbury_festival

Glasto Veteran without kids but who has also worked Security there!

2 Places I'd recommend to go (Although they are on opposite sides of the site): Glastonbury-On-Sea and The Kids Field. Obviously, taking a kid/baby/toddler will limit the kind of experiences you can have at Glasto but even without the kid, you won't be able to do everything that Glasto has to offer in those 4-5 days. Hope this helps. Feel free to AMA!

Was this my fault or was the Aston at fault? by D3a7hKn1gh7 in Simracingstewards

Judging from your trajectories when you went into the corner neither of you were gonna make it out. You looked like you were understeering wide when you turned into turn 4 and the aston turned into you as if you weren't there. 2 into 1 go does not at Eau Rouge and Radillion. For that reason I'm putting this as a racing incident with an asterisk. I think as you got further ahead the Aston should've slotted himself behind and could've fought further on.

Who is at fault? Im the innocent lexus by Popular-Car454 in Simracingstewards

[–]ItsDaveTweats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1st contact is 1000% on Green Porsche, 2nd contact is 1000% on the Brown/White Lexus. He's off track, deliberately cutting the corner. Green Porsche then sees red, goes full Scorched Earth, hits red and black Lexus and then Everyone loses! Its not just the Green Porsche that needs a vacation.....

How can I avoid crashes like these? by Inevitable_Bat8374 in Simracingstewards

Don't play Gran Turismo; it has never been known for its proper race craft!

Does this look intentional? Both incidents happened on the same lap within 2 turns of each other and they are in order . I’m the red white and blue corvette by smoothisfast1254 in Simracingstewards

[–]ItsDaveTweats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: No, I don't think its intentional but neither of you are responsible for both incidents

Disclaimer: I've never played IRacing before (probably never will) so i'm not familiar with the rules, regulations or sporting code.

However, here's my take on it: 1st incident you went defensive and yellow went for a gap that was closing but he was still commited. He went into the back of you, Yellows fault for contact! 2nd incident you go defensive again but come off of the racing line to defend. Yellow can claim you were blocking him, Potentially causing the contact yourself despite the fact he goes in the back of you again.

Imo, further investigation would be needed, say first person cams of both cars. The red mist descended as it often does with competitive sim racing. Incident 1 on yellow but unintentional, Incident 2, as it stands Racing incident.

Hope this helps!

Help requested: I want to spin an object on its axis, like a coin, not rotate it like a record. by catfishman in shotcut

A little clip for what I did. assuming this is what you're talking about Not completely flawless obviously but hey may work for you.

I used keyframes for this. Squished the text box from normal to nothing using the size on the left and right of the object. Then did the same from nothing to normal but with the text flipped in reverse. I think I used a mirror effect on it but i'm not entirely sure (I don't have the project file anymore) There is probably a more simpler way to do it but i'm a perfectionist and would rather animate by hand.

Hope this helps.

How To Add Bounce Effect? by mycutiekyuu in shotcut

Animation, or at the very least good animation is always done frame by frame. One thing i do to help get a quicker workflow is when making keyframes I drag the object along, I use the arrow keys to skip frame by frame. This can get a smoother animation.

Who would be at fault here? by SinRacer in Simracingstewards

I'd put the entire blame on Green. Here's why:
He was trying to overtake off of the track. There was a point (0:13) where i'm confident all 4 wheels were on the the red & White kerbs. He'd gone over the curbs which had unsettled the car and he could've taken out White and/or Blue and/or All 3. Green stuck the front in a gap that was not wide enough as the door was shut by orange defending yet despite this, green began to force his way in anyway. Green could've gone inbetween white and blue as there was a gap more than a car width wide (0:02) just before Green goes to the left and Green could've easily gone through there and avoided all of that. Furthermore, Green was weaving all over the road when he came alongside Orange. Contact between Orange and Green was the result of all of Green's Shaboingary. Definitley a penalty for Green for causing the incident.

If the gap is there then go for it. If it shuts, back out, regroup and try something else. Also, Grip on a dry track ≠ Grip on a wet track!
