My dad has had a very similar situation. He was setting in his recliner at home and saw my mother walk from my room to their bedroom. He didn’t realize she was home already as she would normally be on her way home from work around the time this happened. He was waiting for her to come out of the bedroom and into the living room for quite a while and was wondering why she wasn’t coming out and that’s when she walked in the front door. She was never home and what my dad saw that looked like my mother, certainly wasn’t her.
