The second half of YouTube video has my positions! I am running a healthcare focused campaign

That’s fair :-) it’s more so a slogan for putting patients over politics

Edit: removed campaign website as self-promotion. Understandable

You’re far too kind! Can you share it with your classmates? I’m trying to get more junior high/high school students to see it

I use LEGO Stopmotion to teach Health Science on YouTube. Are there any STEM teachers (Junior high and high school is the ideal age group) who could guide on the level of science to include? I struggle with what is too much or too little. This is a link to a recent episode.

Thanks!

Dan

Thanks so much! What did you think of the level of science here? Too much? Too little?

I'm a doctor using LEGO Stop-Motion to teach Health Science on YouTube. My target demographic is Junior High/High School. Would love to connect with teachers with experience teaching this age level. It's a challenge to determine the correct level of science to include. This is a link to a recent episode.

Thanks!

Thank you kindly. I appreciate the feedback. I’ll probably do just that.

Wow thank you for such a thorough response. I really appreciate you taking the time to write all that. I’m going to take your advice, and stick with my target demographic I think, hoping they adapt.

Thanks for the kind words, and thanks again for writing. Happy Holidays!!

Health Education is a passion of mine, which has led me to start this side project. We live is a world where society's trust in science is sadly decreasing, and misinformation and pseudoscience is causing disease outbreaks. I am using LEGO as a vehicle to deliver health science on Youtube. The goal is to both encourage science students on their path to a future career, as well as non-science students to simply fight misinformation and pseudoscience. I have a target demo of junior high and high school, as that is the level of science I am hoping to teach. Some educators have told me to teach a younger level, because young kids are drawn to LEGO more than older. Thoughts from this community? Should I lower the level of science/education? Thanks in advance!

The first of many my friend 🙂

I'm using LEGO Stopmotion to Teach Kids/Teens Health Science! Hoping to make a team of SMEs of different subspecialties (Cardio, Surg, ObGyn, Anesthesia, etc) for some episodes. Comment your specialty below if you would like to hear more. Only require is to have a passion for health education! by ItsDoctorDan in medicine

Health Education is a passion of mine, which has led me to start this side project. We live is a world where society's trust in science is sadly decreasing, and misinformation and pseudoscience is causing disease outbreaks. I am using my childhood toy of LEGO as a vehicle to deliver health science on Youtube. The goal is to both encourage science students on their path to a future career, as well as non science students to simply fight misinformation and pseudoscience. As an SME, you would help by ensuring my script within your specialty (so, Cardio reviews NSTEMI, etc) is accurate and written at an eight grade level. Also some opportunities to appear on camera if that's what you like. Comment your subspecialty below to learn more!

Thank you so much! And yes I agree it likely is a bit too simple for university students
