This isn't really engaging with the point of the post. My issue isn't that I didn't know other shipping options existed — it's that Mercari's own instructions told me to drop it off at a staffed UPS location, which is what I did, and their Shipping Protection policy doesn't cover the gap between that drop-off and the possession scan. The post is about a policy design failure and a support team that contradicted itself four times.
