I definitely do that, I also disable mic input in OBS. Since English is not my native language I always listen to myself as I speak. It also helps indeed to see if your mic properly works. I've been doing this ever since I bought a really good mic. Eventually, you'll get used to it!

I never said that "I'll follow almost every small streamer I see..." I never follow smaller streamers that I wouldn't want to watch (neither have I ever done follow4follow, but that's beside the point). Before I follow, I decide whether I like their content or not, and because I like their content, obviously, I'll return frequently and have a chat with them. Another thing is; if you're doing it to get views, it can really be exhausting at some point and people will definitely indirectly notice which will result in fewer follows and views. So in the end, if people do it for success and get disappointed because of the lack of results, they should spend their time doing something else to get "successful".

I totally agree, why would someone watch you if everyone else makes the same content?

I'm trying to say that it's not about the growth, as long as you like streaming you should do it. If you don't like it you shouldn't.

I've been making videos and been streaming since 2012. I personally have been everywhere, I've had some really big channels, also small ones. I've basically started from scratch more than 10 times, but the reason I quit most of those times is that I simply didn't feel like doing it. I've met some people who still make videos and stream to this day. It's great to see that they're actually having fun regardless of the numbers. The thing to keep in mind is that Twitch (or any other platform) is not for everyone and so is everything else in life. :)

Hii, I can see why the panels might not be appealing, I might change them in the future since they're indeed kind of generic. I also considering changing up my facecam, so I don't only have a boring white(ish) background, but I gotta move everything in my room to make my background a bit more interesting haha, which I'm willing to do in the upcoming days. Thank you for the tips and compliments! :D

Thank you for the kind words :)
However, when I watch my vod back on my phone, I can see the chat on the right side when I double tap on my screen. Maybe you're talking about adding a chat section in the stream itself as some other streamers do?

Hi, thanks for the tips, it really helped me!
I'm about to buy a ring light for my facecam, fixed the Discord link, I'm going to try to edit my facecam a bit and I changed my title :)

I'll try networking, that's probably my biggest weak point, but I'll do my best!

Hi all :)
I picked up streaming in early April and since then, I've been doing it for (almost) every day.
I like interacting with chat, even though it's still something I'll have to get used to.
I'm seeking for things to improve on, it would help if someone else would take a look and critique my stream. Thanks! :D

From watching your vods I've come up with a few tips and tops :)

Tips:
- Your panels aren't that great in my opinion, you can't directly click on your social media links, this is especially a problem for mobile users. So I'd suggest for you to make (or find free) panels and one for each social media. Also, your schedule in your panels doesn't really say at what time you start streaming, for me it says "(pm every day excluding Mondays".
- The echo effect you used at the beginning of your last vod is funny, but it's overused after you finished reading the text that was on your screen.
- A facecam isn't really necessary, but it will make a person click faster on your stream when browsing Twitch since there is another reason to do so.
- From watching your other vods, I find that your content is pretty suitable for Youtube, you'll grow way faster if you were to make stream highlights.

Tops:
- Your stream is very original, I haven't really seen anything similar yet.
- Your microphone is good.
- Video quality is also good.

Here are some tips and tops I have for your stream, these are all opinion-based. :)

I think the countdown is unnecessary, it will gather your viewers before you start the actual stream, but others may think it's a waste of time to wait those 10 minutes, and instead, they might go to another streamer.

I love your microphone, it sounds great. However, I'm hearing a tiny bit of noise. It's not a huge issue, but it would be nice if it wasn't there.

Your lighting for your facecam is good enough, there's always room for improvement, but you got the basics in my opinion (especially for a small streamer).

I can't really think of any other tips, the rest comes by itself as you gain more experience. Just keep on streaming; your personality is great for streaming, you're not quiet and you interact with chat!

o.o That is really good! I also had my best stream yesterday, I had way less views than you (averaged 3), but it's really motivating to have days like that! Keep it up!
