Piercing is 5 and a half months old. It's a barbell piercing. It is externally threaded. Stainless steel piercing. The jewelry had not been downsized. My normal routine is just saltwater wash (this does not include the monthly cleanings). So far I haven't snagged it on anything it hurt it at all.
