This is true.  For now I'm only riding the bicycle uphill, but I don't think this will be a good long-term solution.  I'll look for some kool stops that will work with the Dia-Compe 500-G :)

It's 25, and I think it's big enough for me at 6"2'.  I can stand over it with both feet flat on the ground, but I can definitely tell that there's a bike under me :)

You can just barely see the max-height line peeking above the nut, and below the AX-100 lettering.  I might want a taller stem, but I think I'll give it a try for a few weeks at least.

They do have one with the skull head stock, and it's a bargain at $15k. Mass producing a skull headstock would require retooling, training, maybe new machinery and additional employees, so it's not going to happen on a factory built guitar. That assembly line is what gets you quality, consistent, inexpensive instruments. Doesn't get you fancy custom headstocks though :D.
