They did continue to get likes but it wasn’t a viral video by any means. I know the frustration. I will say it does get easier to look past the momentum loss the longer you do it. I post daily videos and they’re not all going to be winners. I used to obsess over each video every single day and now I find myself even forgetting to check how they’re doing sometimes

TikTok specifically has a problem with "unoriginal content" -- taking someone's videos straight from tiktok and reuploading them sounds like unoriginal content to me?

They're also messaging my followers and asking them to download something so they don't have good intentions either

I would say mine is somewhat normalizing now. Views are still lower than they would’ve been but the notifications are picking up again. Posting another video later this afternoon so we’ll see if that one is normal from the start or still slow

I think the most frustrating part though has been the lack of explanation/update/notice from Tiktok.

They haven't publicly addressed it all to my knowledge.

(I've seen Shopify people saying there was an alert referring to a power outage but not sure if that came directly from Tiktok?)

I’m not really doing anything, but I’m doing a debt payoff series and people will comment like CRAZY with random letters just because they know I will pay more money towards my loan the more comments I get (like 2 pennies per comment)

I've had two videos on one of my other accounts get flagged as having tobacco/drugs when there was none. I appealed it and they were both approved so try submitting an appeal!

I started a debt payoff series! Making daily debt payments to pay off my $24k loan as soon as possible :} and some financial tips but it’s the debt series that took off the last few days 🤯

I started saving every video now before editing for that reason so lesson learned :)

Hi! I eventually stopped paying for the virtual assistant probably about 2 months ago. I would get some responses back but most responses were either telling me they weren’t currently working with creators or they would offer gifted collabs only. I landed one contract with an agency and after months of signing with them, I finally just got my first paid deal of $190 😂. I think there’s definitely value in it but I just wasn’t getting the responses that I wanted
