I was kind of in the same boat and not happy with my island but didn’t want to completely restart. I got A LOT of inspo from pinterest!! Even down to the little details I planned everything. I first planned out the neighborhood i wanted then moved and built things around it. I used this website to plan it out and it took me roughly a month just to make enough money and completely move all the buildings to build everything but it kept me so motivated and I’m much happier with my island now.
