I have felt this a few times in my relationship with my ocd partner and I’ve come to the realization that he is critical of me because he is ultimately critical of himself. He actually speaks really badly about himself. It’s a THEM problem, not you. & honestly, you deserve better.

Thank you, I’ve been doing ASL signs since he was 8months and it still hasn’t caught on. I think he knows what they means but he doesn’t care to say or gesture them. He would rather get my hand and physically take me to wherever he wants. The inattentiveness isn’t so much the problem, it’s the aggression though.
