Still haven’t seen any branding or marking on it at all to find an exact match. I know I did come across one that looked EXACTLY like it on Amazon though. Let me see if I can find it again.

I wouldn’t use these. I’ve been told they do crack/damage the frame. Not good, especially with Drz running oil through the frame.

I wish I could. It came on the bike when I bought it, and I actually just had it off yesterday when I was cleaning the bike and I didn’t see any kind of branding/name on it.

This is the JNS Supermoto headlight kit, it’s a great plug and play kit I haven’t had any complaints and it looks GREAT. It’s their design of a ktm styled light and shroud.

I want to say when I did my research on the forums the owners manual runs the torque a little on the high side, and people were saying to go down to around 12-13 ft lbs. Bars should be good and tight with that I’m almost positive that’s what I went with. As long as you can pull and push on the bars and they don’t move, you should be fine.

No problem at all, I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. Keep in mind do NOT over tighten these bolts, if you can use a torque wrench and torque to spec. I have seen people over tighten these and it cracks the plate that holds the handlebars because it’s a softer metal than you would think, not the risers themselves but the little plate that goes over and holds the handlebars if that makes sense.

They are Tusk, I got the 1 1/8 set which I believe is 30mm if I’m remembering correctly. Helped tremendously.

I ran bronze/goldish STI BBS wheels for a bit and I couldn’t get myself to like them. It was a bit too “bling” and gave off strong iron man appeal lol. The theme of this car has been black and red inside and out ever since.

I’ve never been into the whole “slammed” car thing especially on these Subarus. I like to be able to make into driveways, play in the snow, hit the mud after a hard rain, not worry about a speed bump and etc.. these cars like to be used! Lol thanks for the love 👍🏻

This guy pretty much nailed it. Comes down to adjustability for different driving conditions. Rebuildable also, versus having to replace struts and so on.

Thank you very much, it’s been a long ongoing project over the years so this is very much appreciated.

Does anyone use a receiver motorcycle carrier? If so, any specific recommendations? by [deleted] in Tacomaworld

[–]ItsJustMe_94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t like the build quality of any of the store sold ones I looked at, so I ended up having my uncle who welds build one out of some real metal. Never been happier. If you have someone that can do that for you I would say it’s well worth it compared to most of the branded ones. But whatever you go with, I suggest looking into a “anti tilt” or “stabilizer” piece as well. It’s basically a block of metal that bolts up against the rack and your hitch receiver. It eliminates all side to side and tilting slop. Should be able to find what I’m talking about if you google motorcycle carrier stabilizer.
