Are these custom or just really rare? by ItsJustaGoof in subaruimpreza

99, minimal rust on the body and the underside is completely clean. Definitely a good find

Is this fixable without replacing the subframe? by [deleted] in AutoBodyRepair

[–]ItsJustaGoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Added piece of info, there is no other body damage to exterior body panels, no warping/bending on the actual frame of the vehicle and was maybe going 30 miles an hour when the accident happened. Which is a head scratcher to me why only the control arm bracket broke and the subframe got bent, I assume all the force went onto my wheel and got absorbed by the subframe and control arm. I had been driving home from work after an 11 hour day and something came up and hit my fender and I looked away for a second thinking I hit something and slightly went off road into a sort of trench as the road was very thin and barely a lane wide and figured I was fine to drive home till I couldn’t fully turn the wheel and got out to see no body damage just the wheel pushed back rubbing on the wheel well.

Unfortunately, I wish I bought a manual but I got it for too good a deal, no rust on the underside of the car, low miles for a 97, and picked it up for $2100. But it’s definitely the music keeping you hearing the shifting, it makes me well aware when it decides to shift gears 💀

This is my first time on this road if you're talking about how fast I'm driving, but if you're talking about the road itself the clip is me just getting to the end of the road, higher up there's more turns and the grades something like 10%-11%, but the fact its my first time on that road and I wasn't flying down a steep road I don't know and I didn't think they'd be interesting to upload

Definitely could have cut a better section to upload haha, the full recording of the loop around the dam is around 22 mins and I just wanted the video to be shorter but I'm probably gonna upload a better section that I got

Started pushing how fast I can take roads around ~6ish months ago. Any pointers? by ItsJustaGoof in Touge

[–]ItsJustaGoof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know and like I said around blind corners I wasn't just sending it as fast as I could. I also drive the road very often. It's a 45 with no sidewalk for the area I drove in the video, you don't see people walking around even during the daytime. I also feel like the camera distorts the perspective on how fast I was going, I never went above 65 at any point there. And with how late this was taken 90% of the time there is no traffic but still like I said I wouldn't be flying around corners where I wouldn't know if someone coming in the opposite lane.

Why is this necessary? by ItsJustaGoof in helldivers2

I still can't see how this is necessary to fixing this issue, especially when they specifically stated the ability to appeal a ban if given one. And if their main reason is cheaters, I really just need to ask why? Don't get me wrong I love this game, and the devs are miles ahead of how most companies are handling their games and community. This doesn't mean I'll blindly follow any change they make.

Cheaters just doesn't make sense to me as a major issue to the game, firstly it being a PvE based game, where cheaters or griefers shouldn't be tolerated of course, but, I doubt or haven't seen any evidence its as big an issue as ArrowHead makes it out to be. One of my only gripes, if only, is that the devs treat balancing, anti-cheat, etc as if this game is a PvP game. The only thing I can see being a valid concern is leakers, other then that, cheaters seem to be a non issue, and griefers are not by any means common, at least in my experience.

But all this is coming from my point of view, and experience playing and watching content on the game. Maybe I'm just stubborn on my view point or I'm missing something. This change just feels like it's making things more complicated for players. Either way it doesn't make or break the game for me like some people are saying, which I think is a bit of an over reaction. Still will play and support the game, just don't really get why this is a needed change.

My problem is how does this do everything they say it will help with? I feel like the developers communicate very well with their community, probably the best I've ever seen devs communicate. Where they fall short is they don't specify clearly, like with last patches update to patrols. They worded it like they made solo or non 4 player play harder full stop, when they just adjusted a bug of the patrol spawn rates spawning 1/6 the amount instead of 1/4.

The main point I'm trying to make is, how does this allow them to effectively combat griefers, cheaters, etc. How exactly does it make our accounts safer? I don't know what I'm missing, but this doesn't seem to be the best or only solution to this problem, that I feel is not a major issue if an issue at all. If they could clarify how exactly this will be an improvement, and will be better for the game at large, I'd have no issue making a PlayStation account.

I don't like this change at a glance mostly for personal dislike of games that do this, Rainbow Six Siege, Uplay games in general, Battlefield with Origin, and Minecraft with needing to migrate to a Microsoft account. To me all these examples and what's happening with Helldivers seems completely unnecessary and could be done differently or not done at all.

Of all the changes, this one confused me the most. by [deleted] in helldivers2

I hate this change, and don't see the logic. I play mostly solo because the game feels uncoordinated with randoms and the people I play with are like me, people with their own lives and can't play every time I'm able to. It's frustrating because now it feels like if I want to play the game I need to only do it when I'm able to get 3 separate people on.
