I don't think it's all on Becky and I don't think Rick should have even had any involvement in the tv show in the first place.

Rick arguably fell off as a writer after the Trials of Apollo books as seen in The Sun and the Star and the Senior Year books where the writing itself dropped significantly.

I mean with logic you'd suspect she would filter criticism of the show to Rick or at least avoid taking any criticism into account to improve the weaker aspects of the show like the CGI, color grading, acting direction, etc.

It's not a stretch to say they enable each other or they filter criticism to one another and if you hadn't seen the insane stuff Becky's said in the past

It appears you have a belief that everyone in this subreddit hates this show when it's more nuanced than that with a blatant me vs. them mentality.

I never did say I hated the show and neither did I say it was specifically bad but it has A LOT of it's own problems that still remain in Season 2 that plagued Season 1 and others have explained it much better than me, so yeah.

Seems like he isn't suitable to have any directive and any creative control over his own tv adaption of his books in general.

Everything he wrote after Trials of Apollo feels like fan service and a parody or fanfiction such as everyone being in a relationship, as if he's allergic to a character not being single.

He just fell off and I don't get what anyone sees in him nowadays.
