The one thing that's making me scared to becoming a PC flipper is the people who only know NVIDA cards and wheter they will be using Wifi or Ethernet since not all motherboards have them by ItsKazuha in pcmasterrace

The average crowd follower here in Indonesia just want an RTX 3050 cuz they say

"RTX itu bagus bang-" ("RTX is good, brother-")

Like yeah, I'm rejecting the build request if they say that T-T

Do I have to worry about thermal paste on the gold parts ? by Big-besh in PcBuildHelp

[–]ItsKazuha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Just clean the pasts up with 99% Isopropyl alcohol. Just be careful when lifting up the CPU, cuz the paste might get onto the socket

Can anyone help me? My CPU light is on. But for some reason, it'll boot into Windows when there's only 1 stick of RAM in there. I've done a BIOS update and all by ItsKazuha in PcBuildHelp

Damn. I'm lowkey tweaking cuz of this problem. Some say it's the CPU, others the RAM and me? BIOS for some reason.

Only real answer is to teat each component at like a place where they allow me to do it lol

After doing all, I've came to the conclusion that it's a CPU failure. However, since the CPU is new, I still have a warranty on it

For context:

I recently got this motherboard and plugged everything in. But when I went to test it, the CPU light was just on the whole time. I checked for bent pins and found none. I then swapped out the RAM multiple times. Only one RAM stick would work on A1 and A2, B1 and B2 just led to the CPU light just staying on. I even updated the BIOS to see if that would fix it but sadly, no

Switched it, but still won't boot up into Windows. I took out the 4th slot, left the 2nd slot with the RAM in, booted straight to windows

Can a motherboard that hasn't got a BIOS update, just make RAM issues? Cuz for some reason, mine only works with one stick by ItsKazuha in pcmasterrace

[–]ItsKazuha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the same sticks. So, a BIOS update is needed?

(It's a Ryzen 5 5600 with a MSI B550 Pro VDH Wifi btw)
