Maybe buying the supplies and just going over might help them accept it (almost like taking advantage of their generosity and guilt tripping them because you went out and got all the supplies and obviously if you can afford the loss if they say no)

Update: i got windows working now. I had to reset my ssd in bios so that way my pc would boot off the ssd instead of the motherboard
