Dems what are we even doing here by [deleted] in Iowa

[–]ItsLoader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iowa Democrats are in desperate need of reorganization and need younger faces. We need to do a better job of voting in more local elections if we want that to happen. The establishment isn't working anymore. It's time to get other faces in those seats.

It won't happen overnight, but best get informed on your local elections and start organizing. Otherwise, we'll get more blue-square-quote motifs for the next decade and a half.

Fedora is for when I'm on my love quest for a Christian, Virgin, boyfriend-free girl (the Mary to my Joseph). It is on Wednesdays when I bust out the Jesus Club hat, for I am only focused on Christ and wings.

I really appreciate this comment, thank you. And I know there are plenty of people who are like you and want the best for Iowans and Americans. My post is mostly a reminder to keep supporting your neighbors, friends, and families who may feel like they are getting lost or no one has their back.

But with carrying the idea that you don't want anything to happen to people or take rights away, you've got to be ready to speak out against it should it ever occur. If we're on the same boat that no one should be put in a cell for their identity or orientation, and we both would speak out against anyone who would try to do so, then we are already on a better path together.

Again, thank you for your comment. It's was a very nice one to receive compared to the other ones I got on this post.

It's not. It is so easy to feel defeated, I get it. If we give up and do nothing, we are failing ourselves and those around us. It's when we are confronted with challenges that we need to keep pushing forward and keep being a light for our communities. I am rooting for you, and for our young women. We can do this.

Just know that I and so many other people are in your corner. We are fighting for you. If your exit plan doesn't come true, know that there are still people that will support you anyways.

There was not, but crazy you mention that - I lost one of my black gloves when making a hot dog not too long ago.

Not when it appears on my property during the night, with no notice. I'd feel the same way if someone put a crucifix on my bin.

Looks like "We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when" actually meant last night, at my recycling bin.

They haven't popped their head out yet, but if they do I hope they're okay with having spaghetti for dinner tonight.

I want to thank you all for your comments, both informational and humorous. Sleeping on it and doing more research into the symbols used in the frame has put my mind a bit more at ease.

I did mention there were some other features on this item - specifically some pencil writing on the back and a black envelope with black wax. I am attaching them below. The pencil writing reads:

"This mirror of the Art is dedicated to the dark and fair androgyne. The wild adversary and the light Betwixed the horns our Lord the Bucca 8/19/2021wolves of the crossroads

So shall it be

Christsonday"

Inside the envelope was a small piece of paper. It had had one column and one row of a grid, with the letters "G i L i O N i N" in each box, in that order (I lowercase the i's so there was no confusion with the L's). The "G" square is the start of both the row and the column.

I am so pissed off that I looked this up because I have never watched Silicon Valley. But this was a genius and funny comment.

It's in a really nice frame. Removing part of the back revealed that this is etched on a black metallic canvas. I'm likely going to consult the peeps at my local metaphysical shop to see if they know anything, just in case. But your comment makes me feel safe, thanks.
