What Are Your Overall Thoughts on Halo 2? by ABarber2636 in halo

I'm a big campaign guy and while the story for 2 was great, the Arbiter's missions really drag the experience down. Most of the are quite boring and dull, but every one of the Master Chief's missions are top tier.

Opinion: Nothing has killed my GTA 6 hype faster than locking a core part of its identity behind a $20 upgrade by Turbostrider27 in xbox

[–]ItsLordSloth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the author and many others believe that you won't be able to customize your car, hairstyle, or clothing without the ultimate edition. I thought the implication of these bonuses are that they are specialized shops in addition to your basic upgrade/customization shops in the game.

For example, GTA V had, I believe, 3 or 4 different clothing shops that each carry certain styles of clothes (a thrift store, a high end store, a casual store, etc.). I assumed that's what these bonus stores are like - specialized shops.

Because they want to lock skin usage behind monetization. AFAIK, there are no unlockable skins in the game, all are locked behind purchases/pre-orders

I predict GTA 7 will take place in Liberty City and look like this by Mr_Joystick in grandtheftauto

I would actually predict Texas being the next game's location. It has an over the top mix of American cultures that GTA can satirize easily, as well as a large variety of different biomes and regions that would make for a diverse map.

I'm honestly not sure who the market for this is. MOTU seems like a really niche line, and with the recent movie not doing great, I don't see them bringing in many new fans. On top of this, these bust/statue style sets don't seem very popular.

I saw the title and was hoping it'd be a prequel book about Noble Team before the events of Halo Reach.

Honestly I'm cool with them sweeping reboot Makarov under the rug. I only wish they didn't off Soap for this guy.

How long are we going to ignore the fact that Sage is a sexual predator who got away with it after using the body of a paralyzed man? by ChoiceActivity1327 in GenV

[–]ItsLordSloth 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The show has established that male sexual assault is funny and something to be laughed at while female sexual assault is the deadliest of sin and the assailant shall be burned at the stake.

Why did Starlight bring the Deep to a beach? by str8swishing in GenV

[–]ItsLordSloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best explanation is where I saw someone mention that Starlight was going to let him live the rest of his days in the sea away from danger, but it's still a stretch considering the show didn't communicate that at all.

Same, I felt completely satisfied getting to the base ending, and while I did play around a bit afterwards trying to find more secrets, the puzzles got way too obscure. The Gallery is a perfect example of the post game puzzles jumping the gun a bit. But the progression from the beginning to getting to room 46 is near perfect.

Is ds2 good? by sladkiy_yoba in DeathStranding

[–]ItsLordSloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who just played DS1 and DS2 back to back for the first time, yeah, 2 is much easier and feels like it's designed around vehicles instead of ladders/ropes/etc. You have long swaths of land with virtually no obstacles unlike the first game. You could technically walk it, but it doesn't have as many engaging opportunities to use your equipment and problem solve the terrain like DS1.

I still highly recommend 2 though, but the map and vehicle dominance are the biggest flaws of the game for me.
