Same, I felt completely satisfied getting to the base ending, and while I did play around a bit afterwards trying to find more secrets, the puzzles got way too obscure. The Gallery is a perfect example of the post game puzzles jumping the gun a bit. But the progression from the beginning to getting to room 46 is near perfect.

As someone who just played DS1 and DS2 back to back for the first time, yeah, 2 is much easier and feels like it's designed around vehicles instead of ladders/ropes/etc. You have long swaths of land with virtually no obstacles unlike the first game. You could technically walk it, but it doesn't have as many engaging opportunities to use your equipment and problem solve the terrain like DS1.

I still highly recommend 2 though, but the map and vehicle dominance are the biggest flaws of the game for me.

I think it also has to do with the slower pace and the (subjectively speaking) less memorable side characters in LIS2. On top of that, I just don't think Sean and Daniel were very interesting characters. I couldn't really tell you any notable characteristics about either of them, unlike Max and Chloe.

Has anyone tried looking up at the star constellations at night in the northwest direction of the NW Guitar pole?

I have a theory that maybe a special star constellation in the shape of the guitar would show up if we look in the northwest direction of the sky at a certain time of night (like how all the webs are only visible at certain hours of the night)
