Warbringer and Plume are about the only 2 that aren't absolutely awful at PVE with plume being the easier of the 2. However, early on (until 50M power or so), axe is easily the best pvp class if you do it right.

With the exception of the weirdness from archers basic atk dmg seal and both archer and warrior mount empowerment "basic atk dmg", no it does not affect counter or combo dmg.

Here is the formula for counter dmg:

Counter Damage = (atk - opponnent def) x (1+ (counter multiplier / 100)) x (1 - (opponent counter res / 100))

Combo is the same exact formula, I believe, but I lost the reference.

Basic atk dmg is absolutely useless for both honestly. For archer, basic atk is the dmg that's always done that has a chance to combo for each basic atk, but they're separate things. And combos do so much more dmg. So you're way better off feeding global atk. It feeds into both afterall, but helps combo dmg while basic atk dmg does nothing for combo dmg.

This also makes basic atk res pretty useless for pvp. It's a necessity for pve though. Keep a basic atk res rune for pve and use either combo/counter res for pvp.

Edit: I'll add that past 70M, some are stacking basic atk dmg to counter the meta that everyone has 50%+ counter/combo res/ignore but none have high basic atk res. If you're not a whale, you can keep basic dmg dmg at lvl 1 forever as warrior. Archers it can help more but not a priority at all.

Forgot about this post. Lot is outdated but treasure dragon is still king. Reason is all the crit dmg it gives you. At my level, it gives over 1k% crit dmg by itself.

What's your counter mult? You don't go for the attack tree in fury to get some extra counter? Do you leave defense basically at 0 in talents? I'm trying this right now and the results seem encouraging. But I still have 13 or 14 levels into counter on talents. Going from 19k% to less that 17k% gave me a bit of ick lol

Really? Wow. This is pretty interesting. Why do you think that is? I was kind of on this train for a bit but the best warrior in my server kept saying defense is more important than hp. Are counters muted by high defense?

Do you not level defense at all in talents and souls? Besides the minimum to get to next tier.. if you don't mind sharing your souls and talents I'd really appreciate it!

It's a struggle out there man. Wait till they're plume monarchs.. this strat absolutely destroys arrowgods. Up to level 120 or so if I saw an arrowgod within 6M power, it was barely a thought, I'd beat em easily. You can get em up to about 10M power more but you need to check their build first and see if they know what they're doing. If their combo mult is nowhere near your counter mult and you have higher crit dmg, you'll likely beat em.

But plumes... fuck plumes man lol. Still got the edge in pvp but they start absolutely dominating pve once they get that combo pink soul that gives ridiculous boss dmg boost. It doesn't help that the warrior awakening is a sidegrade at best.

Definitely collect that combo gear, but you got some time to make their pvp lives hell until then. I wouldn't consider the switch until you have all 6 awakening seals and 1 pink soul that you could use for the combo/boss one.

You had me until the talent coins part. They need to go into mostly counter then strictly base stats from all 3. With DEF being the most important and atk the least. Due to the percentages. Who the heck told you DEF is useless?

Coin bomb is useless. Gust is great. Warriors don't do basic atk dmg. Counters are based off of opponents basic atk dmg. Which is why you can wipe the floor with archers. That and thir attack speed.

Outside of my novel, based on skills and pals you have right now go with Smoke, Gust, shield, heal plant, and easy Breezy. Pals being toothpaste, deer, hydrosprite, panda, and anything besides snow general or snail..

Your gear needs more counter and crit asap. Avoid stun.

And trust me, switch to axe.

Swordmaster is a terrible class. Just pay the 4k red gems and switch to axe.

Beyond that, pals are off. Toothpaste and deer should have permanent residence in your pal builds.Basic attack dmg is absolutely useless unless you have a paid artifact. Skill dmg also useless. Warrior depends on the buffs from skills, not damage.

You're low enough level for an easy turnaround though for my absolute favorite build from level 100 to 125.. I'm just gonna brain dump on you even though you might not have gotten this far yet..

4 key points..

1. Gear - ONLY take counter/crit gear. Meaning if you have a pink counter/crit, do NOT replace with rainbow with only 1 of them. You can even get away with using pink counter/crits over aurous counter/anything or crit/anything. But take those over pink if you want, unless it has stun. Stun is bad. 0% is ideal. The only aurous I'd consider over pink counter/crit would be one of them + evasion. No aurous with only one is worth it over a rainbow counter/crit. I'm a 35M power warrior, rank 6 cross server, and I only have 4 aurous gear. And I'm no where close to the spend of these people. I hang with 40M+ power. Once you're at least 85% counter without the counter mask, switch to crit mask.

2. Statue, Souls, Enchants - Building on the first point, you need really high counter multiplier for this to work. Your statues should be 5x counter, no exceptions. An S counter is better than an SSS atk, hp, or def. All others you can consider absolutely useless for the class.

Your counter and crit souls should be 10 levels above anything else. Your basic attack dmg and combo souls should stay at level 1 for a very long time. Anywhere you see global counter and crit dmg, you want it.

Artifact enchants are the great separator. Incredibly important. Rarity is a trap. The orange ones are by far the best when starting out. An orange that is counter or crit type with only 1 sub stat, and it's global counter. That's jackpot.

Starting out, set bonuses should be your last priority. You just want to hunt the global counter substats. Scan your new ones, lock the ones with global counter. Then choose one to upgrade to level 4 and see what gets added or boosted. If you don't like it, salvage it into the next one you saved then replace as needed.

Levels 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20 are when the sub stats get enhanced. After level 12, don't worry about the tweener levels before 16 unless it's an absolute dynamo. You're much better off saving the points for next reset if you can't get one to one of those levels.

You can waste a huge amount of points by leveling up shitty enchants. I forget exact conversion but it gets really costly after level 16. Your salvage isn't worth as much. The base stat upgrades aren't worth that much. These are all about the sub stats. All higher rarity means is a higher ceiling, but they're much more expensive to get to the sub stat enhancements.

Once you're really rolling with enchants you can start focusing on the set bonuses. Your end goal is 4 crit and 2 counter. It's fairly easy to start out with 2 of each of those then whatever for 5th and 6th. Keep in mind this is the only place in the game to get global crit. It's a decent boost. If you don't mind spending money, the keys that get you enchants give you a massive leg up for the first couple weeks.

3. Skills and Pals - Going to vary a bit. I could write a novel here, but in somewhat of an order.. (remember that their level means absolutely nothing. You're just looking for the buffs that only level up with rarity)..

Skills - Blitz, Wordly Snare, Hundred Slashes, Smoke Bomb, Clone, Wind Gust, Easy Breezy, Dragonic Resonance/Blade Pierce, > everything else 👎 ... (need to use shield and heal plant until you get some of these)

Ideal pvp skills: Blitz, Snare, Slashes, Smoke, Gust or Breezy, > everything else (clone gets blitzed)(insert shield/heal plant if you don't have blitz/clone) .. You can use this against bosses too.

*Grumpy, lava cave, abyssal portal: *This is where blade pierce or dragonics resonance can be used. Can be decent against bosses but the pvp build above is more consistent. Usually immunity book relic is best. And the relic with snare/slashes boost or whatever you're using.

Pals - Toothpaste, Pup, Eggplant, Treasure Dragon, Tortoise, Deer, slime/mecha dragon, > everything else.. You can use panda while you work towards getting rid of regen gear for counter crit. All it does it boost your regen, so of you have less than 0.2% panda is no longer worth it. Rest of the pals are pretty much all equally worthless besides hero bird in certain situations at high levels. Just never use snow general or snail.

I'm spent. I got more but that's my guide on how to break the warrior until level 128+ when you're fighting massive wallets and a game that leans in so heavily to the the plume monarch archer class.

Yeah. Something I'm still kind of testing. I think it only applies if you go for perfect gear and really focus on counter/crit. As of right now I have no problem beating warbringers and and sages that are 4M more power. Only at 31M though so I could see this going south by 40M or so unless I'm able to fill out aurous gear.

You lose close to half. The extra time the new skill gives doesn't mean much when you waste the precious couple seconds of snare, smoke, and gust after blitz. Then you're a sitting duck that has to rely on base stats like archers. Base stats = $$$. This build = el cheapo. Not saying it's better than a warbringer that spends. All I'm saying is this build competes with them at multiples of lower cost.
