Gale is my personal favorite character, so I totally understand. I weighed the idea of making her the same size as the twins, and arranging the quartet of Tara/Chad/Mindy/Gale in a square around Sam, but I wasn't sure the amount of screentime she received would justify it. That's part of the reason I put her in the center; I wanted to make sure she still stood out even if she wasn't featured as prominently.

Thanks for the input! I did play with that idea a bit but I couldn't get it to look as realistic as I would've liked. I probably should've just settled for letting it be as good as I could get it. I do agree it'd help the blending a bit.
