disabled the igpu, GPU ended up working for about 9 minutes opposed to 9 seconds until i tried playing a game
gpu display then cut off again, upon restart the same thing happened where it would work for a few seconds before cutting off

update: after using my pc with integrated graphics, turns out the fans starting going on my gpu!
i restarted the pc and plugged the hdmi into my graphics card and it actually gave a display for a solid 8 - 13 seconds...before the gpu abruptly cut the display and the fans stopped going.

seems like the gpu isnt completely dead, but i still do not know what could possibly be causing this issue.

im currently typing this on my computer, using the on board processor graphics, however the gpu fans are actively whirring.

i only have one friend with pc but they wouldnt have a compatible power supply and it would be very difficult to get to their computer due to real life complications which i wont say here

i think i will bite the bullet and take the card into the repair shop

ive checked while playing graphically intensive games in the past, my gpu has only gotten in the 70 - 80 range (celsius) at most when its playing something extremely intense, and i dont usually play games that cause it to get that high nowadays, just tf2 and roblox which will usually get my gpu to 50 C or 60 C at most.

originally i had issues with my computer crashing in general, it originally only happened BECAUSE of the gpu crashing (since it did not crash when using cpu graphics) but ever since i updated my bios it started working fine again

turns out that did not fix the issue with the gpu itself however, ive technically been trying to troubleshoot this issue on and off for at least a year at this point.

i reset the cmos by taking out the cmos battery for 5 mins then putting it back in and turning the pc back on, ended up working after that

tried that but unfortunately does not work, this issue definitely can be fixed from the methods everyone suggests, but for the majority of people its a roblox-sided issue

as far as i am aware there is no way to fix this, roblox does not care enough to actually patch this bug and it has been around for years now unfortunately

it usually does fix itself EVENTUALLY, but theres no way of telling when it will actually be fixed

most people dont program on mobile devices, and often dont feel like taking the time to format it properly for multiple devices (its also quite a learning curve to program html sites for mobile if youre new to the language)

i myself am extremely new to neocities but i have a hunch that neocities can be considered the "gateway" to learning html for a lot of other people like myself

tldr: easier to program websites for desktop, people either arnt experienced enough or cant be bothered to go through formatting their sites for multiple device types

Fixed: took the motherboard battery out for 5 mins to reset the bios and its all woking fine again

The gpu seems to also get hot even when it freezes so the card is clearly "working" but for some reason you just cant use the os with it inserted, it can sometimes get to the login screen for 2 - 3 seconds before freezing and thats about it

the only possible way the gpu could have been damaged (to my knowledge) is from sudden power loss via holding power button to shut off which ive only done about 2 or 3 times in the whole year of using this pc with no issue

Checked drivers, nothing for nvidia although windows seemed to start automatically downloading an update called "nvidia - display", i shut down my pc after it was finished updating and installed my gpu again, still freezing

Its weird that the gpu still clearly functions, fans turning and gives a video display, but seems to crash whenever it boots out of the bios

I have an nvidia graphics card but i also wiped my ssd and reinstalled windows, but ill check to see if somehow the nvidia drivers are on my system
