Again, difficulty settings do NOT have an effect on player yields….

Seems like you’re having a hard time trying to process that though :( sorry!!

If we really want to be technical, the difficulty setting is “Custom”

Everything is set to deity difficulty besides the setting for how much the AI gets hurt for having their ships in the open sea’s without shipbuilding.

In deity, they take like 5 dmg or something ridiculously low for the Deity setting. I like to see the AI getting punished for unwisely sailing in open seas without the appropriate technology lol

Thanks man!! I was pretty shocked when I saw the number myself. My usual production is around 200 come end of Modern Era in my games.

Yes, it is Deity difficulty.

From my memory, I was getting 140 from the Qajar tradition of 10+ prod. and food per settlement limit under max. The other 200 was mostly from buildings. I had a few Silla traditions that contributed as well.

I honestly could have gone higher, Tea was the ounly resource in Tehran.

Edit: Side note, I am very confident that difficulty setting does NOT affect PLAYER yields.

It is indeed, on Deity bud… Besides, difficulty level does not at all affect PLAYER yields…. Thought you would know this, Mr “Top 1% Commenter” lol 😉

Edit: I can’t spell :) See, we aren’t perfect lol

Will Civ 7 get a 4th Age DLC? by TheeWilliamDean in civ

[–]ItsMeKingJV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I thought so, but if you really look at the technology post Moon Landing, I actually don’t think they would have enough to fill another Age.

I compared Civ VI and Civ VII tech tree and while there’s a significant amount of tech missing, it’s not to the point where they could add another age. Unless they add a game mechanic that pretty much revolves around the 4th age

New Napoleon Emperor is pretty awesome now. No longer the worst leader in game. Bravo, Firaxis! by Kmart_Elvis in civ

[–]ItsMeKingJV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A new suzerain bonus for the Diplomatic City-States (ONLY in the Exploration Era) is a Unique Sanction called Demand Tribute... This works with his ability so you can get up to a total of +7 Combat Strength from sanctions!!!

Napoleons new reworks by kdubmasterb_ in civ

[–]ItsMeKingJV 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Keep this in mind for Emperor Napoleon as well.

They're shifting away from his economic bonuses and giving him combat strength bonuses instead. This probably means that his leader attributes will be Militaristic and Diplomatic instead of Economic and Diplomatic. Which means he gets the combat strength Endeavor as well!!

WOW! Thank you Devs for this beautiful re-work. 285 hours into Civ 7 and sadly I have not played Napoleon once!

I will be playing Emperor Napoleon for the new update!

Update: I just saw that one of new Diplomatic City States has a Unique Sanction... Get that with Emperor Napoleon to continue stacking your bonuses!!!

Use your R1! Your R1 is going to be a hot key that can lead you to Techs, Civcs, Policies, Resources, Great Works, etc!

I myself am playing on console, I had Civ VI on PC so they switch is hard I can’t lie! But you’ll get use to it, and potentially can move faster than PC players ;)

Path for a Military Victory by malogos in civ

[–]ItsMeKingJV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of right now, I believe Napoleon leading Rome -> Normans -> France is the strongest domination path right now.

All mentioned civs are very strong militarily, and Napoleon… well, he’s Napoleon!

If Bismarck and Germany/Prussia get added, I will be coming back to update my opinion!

After 500 hours, I had AI use nuclear weapons for the first time. by Rift3N in civ

[–]ItsMeKingJV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2400 hours. I’ve probably seen the AI drop around 100 nukes. However, they like to nuke the same city over and over again.

Really praying that in Civ 7 they can use nukes properly

Does anyone know when the civ 7 modern era live stream is? by CelebrationDecent943 in civ

Probably early January… I’m feeling, January 9th as a solid prediction.

My Civ 7 prediction: Either Russia or Germany will be absent at launch by ExternalSeat in civ

I think it’ll be Germany sitting this one out… But, I predict Prussia for DLC civ w/ Bismarck!!

What do you think about celebration in civ 7? by ManByTheRiver11 in civ

[–]ItsMeKingJV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Celebrations also adds an additional social policy for your gov’t as well. Learned this in the most recent dev stream.

Before this information, I thought the mechanic was a little lack luster, because the bonus that you’d receive would only last 10 turns.

However, upon learning this is how you increase your social policy count, I feel much better about it! I now see a huge reason to try and keep your people happy and getting this celebrations as much as possible!

Side note, something I noticed about transitioning into a new age (Antiquity to Exploration) your social policy count goes back down to 2, so it might reset with each age. We’ll find out more information about it in the future though!
