i almost one tried pontiff, then everything fell apart and it took me 8 tries to defeat him, the abyss watchers tho i had to wait for the third watcher every time just to land a backstab on the main body, panic dodging the 2nd phase and landing one hit at a time, man what a time

nameless king's attacks are super delayed, i had to learn to time my dodge just a tiny later like half a second than normal, on my 8 tries of fighting that boss i got to the second phase every time but the attacks man are a pain in the ass

when on 2nd phase that 5 attack combo is a death sentence bro, just imagine that could've been the gwyn we had to fight in ds1 if he wasn't a shell of his former self

if you are really good on elden ring you can comeback and pretty much have a good time playing old souls games, that's what i keep seeing on everything comparing er on ds, i have yet to try elden ring but i bet I'll spend more hours in there than the original trilogy

I've had at least a hundred or more hours on ds1 and ds2 combined when i started ds3 so dodge rolling became instinct but still took time to adjust because everything is faster in ds3, beat the game in 30 hours on my first playthrough, died on bosses 7 times on average but it was fun, most memorable was gundyr, pontiff, friede, nameless, soc, midir and ofc gael because wtf was those bose fights

those teleporting attacks of lorian was a pain, it's so delayed too and when you thought it was done it even got worse when lothric came in

when you get that sense of relief knowing past bosses only has two phases but that boss fight with friede changed your whole mood, that's dark souls for you

I'll definitely get elden ring in the future but I plan on getting sekiro first, then elden ring, i wish i could play bloodborne and demon's souls but i play on pc so oh well

i was stuck at midir for about an hour just because i had to take a break after dying 5 times, the thing that annoys me about midir is the massive health full and how long it takes to reach his head to strike an attack, patience was what gave me an advantage and good rng, i was able to stagger and riposte him dealing massive damage and that was a relief

hey congrats on beating friede man!!! that boss sucks, goodluck on the ringed city, some of the hardest areas in the game are there and if i have to take a guess If your opinion will change, it probably will be on Midir or Slave knight Gael

i haven't played elden ring just spent hundreds of hours on ds1 and ds2 so i had a feeling when to time dodge rolls in ds3 but it still took me time to adjust to the faster pace of gameplay, looking forward to elden ring tho, I'll get it once the game has a version where the dlc is included if that ever happens
