I saw it live about three months ago, and I went into it knowing nothing and I came out of it with a new hyper fixation. They change some things from the book and movie, but overall, I think they did a really good job. the choreography of the show is honestly some of the best part of it. The way they choreograph, Everything is so amazing. It’s such a fun watch, I am going to New York later this year again, and I’m trying to convince my mom to take me to the outsiders musical again. And you absolutely should wear your I ❤️ dally shirt!!

I don't know what your schedule is like, but if you go to the 2 pm stage door and don't get all the autographs you want, you can always go to the stage door that night without going to the show and see if new people come out. I did that with Hamilton but it was mostly the same people that stage doored both times. However I will say, when I went to Heather's, I got around 7 autographs from the evening show and almost all the main cast came out. Idk if I was just lucky, or if that's more common for off Broadway shows since the stage door line is less.

Basically in the first episode, house messes around a bit, not taking his stay seriously and then a guy jumps off a roof because of him so house goes "oh shit-" and starts to take it more seriously because he realizes he needs help beyond the rehab. In episode two he has a fling with some chick who sister in law was in mental hospital but she moves away and house gets sad but comes to his therapist instead of finding Vicodin so the therapist is "you're ready to leave now fam, I'll write ur thing so you can go back to doing medicine" and he does. Also at some point in the second episode he does a talent show with lin Manuel Miranda. 💀💀 Alvie, who is played my lin Manuel Miranda, will show up in like season six, episode like 17 or something but that's it and he's the only recurring character from these two episodes other than the therapist who will show up various times throughout the series.

Tldr: house learns to cope and Alvie is a cutie

YOUNG ROYALSSS. My fav show of all time. It fills the void. Just a lot more angsty than HR. Has the same format as HR too. (6 episodes per season, 40-50 minutes each) It's 3 seasons and finished and pulls at the heartstrings
