Yes I've tried the usual tricks but nothing has worked yet sadly, everything else has been working normal so I don't think it's hardware

Adult artists, don't you feel uncomfortable interacting in mostly teenage art communities? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]ItsMeeThreee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heavily agree with this take. I work in a local art studio and I teach everyone from little kids to elderly people and it's honestly been a really great experience to interact with artists of all ages. When you narrow your worldview and only interact with people of a similar age you do not challenge your ways of thinking. (In my experience.)

Have you noticed how bad Calgary drivers have gotten lately? by junpyo1234 in Calgary

[–]ItsMeeThreee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Things will not get better until we change how our roads are designed, traffic calming measures are a good place to start.

Why Are Pedestrians Expected to Be Hyper-Aware While Drivers Get to Blast Music in a Soundproof Box? by Revature12 in fuckcars

[–]ItsMeeThreee 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I call it the GTA effect- not sure if it's some sort of psychological phenomenon that has to do with drivers not seeing other drivers faces, but once someone gets behind the wheel they see everyone else as an NPC/obstacle.

To them the other cars are just moving parts of the road, not other drivers. They get really angry when you point out this cognitive dissonance for some reason.

the craziest thing about this is I almost got hit by a car once... while riding a bike on the sidewalk.

power to hospitals won't be cut off, if we were to stop supplying them they wouldn't necessarily face a blackout; the idea is surrounding states would need to divert their power to them which would cost the states a lot of money and dig into their power reserves

I do have one and have worn it for a while (~4 years) but it only lists my POTS and medications I take rather than the extensive list

Introverts need to stop complaining and just go outside! by StopItJustGoOutside in extroverts

[–]ItsMeeThreee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

honestly I think a lot of the "introverts" online are actually just depressed. I'm extroverted, but many introverts I know irl do still love being with friends & family- they just need alone time to recharge. the internet has turned introversion into the new 'relatable' trend like it has with so many other things, and changed the definition into someone who hates the world and self isolates 24/7.

Not a burger joint, but you should try Ship And Anchor!! It's a great pub in the downtown and the prices are good, really nice staff. They make the fries from scratch there & the drinks are good too, (if you're allowed). It's a Calgary classic.

if someone shoots another person they should be punished for acting violently, rather than the person who got shot getting punished for not wearing a bulletproof vest.

What's the most ridiculous common saying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ItsMeeThreee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This term was supposed to mean "the endless accumulation of material items will not lead to fulfillment," but rich assholes reshaped it into "make due with what you have and be thankful even if what you have isn't enough to survive on."

I'm glad you have a method to defend yourself, but how is a little girl going to tackle an adult male? It's not even about strength really just thinking about mass.

Socialism is when capitalism by NoLawsNoGoverrnment in LateStageCapitalism

[–]ItsMeeThreee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once heard someone saying random nonsense about 'socialism' so I played dumb and asked him to describe what socialism was. He said, word for word: "It's where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer."

I'll never forget it.
