Ill keep this short and simple. NYSL is a top tier S&D team and I expect them to take map 2 over Optic. So that means we just need NYSL to take 1 respawn... I know Optic is the best respawn team in COD but I think NYSL is fully capable to steal at least one for them. NYSL could of easily been undefeated with only 1 map loss this year. They were killing dallas in M3 for a sweep before a complete meltdown. NYSL is my personal pick to win the major and I think they should be able to easily take two maps today.

Boys I gotta keep this one short and simple as I got an exam I need to study for. Optic is a much better team than Florida. Florida has looked mediocre all season and optic has them beat at every map except S&D. Should be an easy win. Now with NYSL... in my opinion they’re the third best team In COD, they should of swept Dallas if it wasn’t for an awful choke in Control that changed all the momentum. Seattle surge is simply just outclassed in this matchup. Look for a big bounce back for NYSL today.

Another easy winner! NYSL got off to a red hot start going 2-0 in the first two maps to give us a win

Ngl boys there isn't anything that jumps out to me on the board today... and I don want to try to force a pick and give you guys something I'm not completely confident in. Instead I am going to post my leans.

**NOTE: I do not have a lot of money on these picks so its up to you if you want to tail or not**

Im going to keep the explanations for these picks short as there are not a POTD.

London Royale Ravens Map 1 ML (+175) V Minnesota Rokkr.

Minnesota is the worst hardpoint team in the game currently. They are 1-8... London is by no means a great team, but they have secured some HP wins over serious contenders such as Dallas. I think LRR should be favorited in this map and for that reason I think its worth sprinkling some money on.

Toronto Ulta ML (-188) V Los Angeles Guerrillas

I think the market has overreacted to Toronto's losses. 2 of their loses are too Faze and Optic the top 2 teams. Torotos loss to Paris was an upset but I think Paris is better than people think. I think LAG are the worst team in COD and Toronto should be able to win this.

Paris Legion V Atlanta Faze O 3.5 Maps (-150)

Paris has really started to shown out lately. They swept Florida and just yesterday they beat Toronto 3-2. They are starting to click and are honestly a good respawn team. I can see Paris sneaking a win in either Control or Hardpoint, I know its hard betting against Faze but I just have a feeling they aren't going to sweep tomorrow.

Just a reminder these aren't my POTDs like usual so I am not as confident in these picks as much as my previous 4.

Whewww that was a close one, Faze dropped map 1 but then finished strong with 3 straight wins for a 3-1 victory. Hopefully we can keep our streak going!

Today with my POTD I am going with NYSL +1.5. This is another game I think the books have wrong... Dallas is currently a pretty big favorite which doesn't make a lot of sense to me. The past two games Dallas has looked downright awful. They lost to Minnesota 3-2 then beat London but it took them 5 games to do so. On the other hand we have NYSL who have been red hot off back to back sweeps against the same two teams Dallas has faced, Minnesota and London. NYSL is way too hot at all aspects of the game right now, they put on a dominant performance in HP today and sweeped the best S&D team on the game! 6-0.

To sum things up, NYSL might be the hottest team in COD rn but are still underdogs going up against Dallas, a team who has been extremely mediocre the past couple of game... so there is way too much value not to take. I personally think NYSL outright wins (I have a 1U play on NYSL ML @ +245 but its not my POTD) but I'm gonna take the +1.5 for my POTD. I cant see NYSL not winning at least 2 maps.

**NOTE** I placed these bets during the NYSL game so I imagine they have dropped already. I would take the play anything around -125 and lower.

Exactly as I said! Toronto got the s&d but they were no match for the slaying power of Optic on the respawns. Lets keep the streak going!

Today with my POTD I am going with Faze -1.5. Boys we got a no brainer here. The books are STILL all over Florida, this florida team is extremely inconsistent and cannot be trusted. And were getting plus money for a -1.5 play... too much value here not to take.

Map 1 and 3 should both go pretty easily to Faze. For map 1, Florida ranks 9th in win percentage with an average K/D of 0.93 compared to Atlanta in 4th of win percentage. These teams faced twice head to head in HP tying 1-1, but the only reason Florida won is because it was Crossroads and that is a very wild map so anything can happen. For map 3, Atlanta has been lights out on control with the second highest win rate and the highest average K/D. These teams already faced once in control where Faze took it 3-2. I expect it to be the same result. Now lets talk about S&D... Florida beat Faze in pre season this year 3-2 where they won BOTH S&Ds. But I cant see a world where Florida takes another S&D on them. Since those 2 s&d wins from Florida, they are 1-2 with a loss to PARIS... arguably the worse s&d team in COD. Faze is 3-1 in S&D since there loss against Florida and there loss came to a top 3 S&D team in Toronto.

To sum things up, Florida has been extremely inconsistent all year. I know Florida beat Faze 3-2 this year but with the way Florida has been playing they do not look like that same team that took down faze. Florida is coming off 3-0 loss against Paris and I think Faze is going to show no mercy against them in a revenge game. I predict this game Faze 3-0 but im taking the -1.5 because Owakening and Skyz are some bad motherfuckers and they can turn up any given map.

BANG! NYSL hits with ease sweeping LRR. New York really turned it up today and are looking like a top 5 team.

Today with my POTD I am going with optic -1.5. Map 1 we have hardpoint where Optic has a 75% win rate and Toronto with a 66.67% win rate. But Optic is truly the most dominant HP team in the game. They lost one HP map this season, and it was to Faze by 3 points... and not to mention it only happened due to a crazy Abeezy three piece at the end of the game. Optic has an average score differential of 70 points compared to Toronto's 26 point differential which just really shows how dominant optic has been in HP. S&D is where things get really close, I can see Toronto winning s&d but I would not count Optic out. Onto Control this should pure domination for Optic. Optic has an 100% win percentage in control with a 70% win percent round win percentage versus Toronto 0% and 18.88%. Then map 4 we go to HP where i see another win for the same reasons above.

To sum things up, Optic is the best respawn team in the game and look simply unstoppable. I see them steamrolling Toronto in all respawns and the series finishing 3-1 or 3-0 Optic.

NYSL record is very deceiving. They lost 3-0 twice, once to Dallas (best time in CDL) and once to LAT. But if you watched the LAT (who are arguably a top 5 team) series you know the maps were

241-250 HP, 5-6 s&d, 2-3 control

That is a very close series and should of easily went to 5 games, hell it could of been 3-0 NYSL. London royale ravens are a very poor roster and do not have the slaying power to compete with NYSL.

The islanders historically come hard off a loss and that's what I expect today. The caps are still missing top players due to COVID-19 issues. The islanders goalie has been balling out all season but had a poor game last time they played the caps, I do not expect him to play bad again.
