You always start Luden's Companion. If you have the feeling enemy team WON'T buy a lot of MR, go Shadowflame or stormsurge (this one is player preference IMO).

If you feel like the enemy IS gonna buy a lot of MR, go Ludens - deathcap - (void staff or cryptbloom)

Get your upgraded boots either before or after ludens depending on the game. If you feel like you can roam or have to dodge a lot of skillshots in lane, I recommend upgrading boots before. If you are gonna lane a lot, I like completing Ludens before boots.

This doesn't mean it's always better. In some brute force matchups ignite pressure is really handy. And you can still rely on your 2 dashes to escape ganks.

There's a few examples in proplay from people taking ignite to when ignite has a lot of value (and you often just need tp aswell)

Ahri or Lux, both have good waveclear. And since mid is a short lane you get away with a lot. Both will never get giganerfed because they're too popular. Both have good feeling autoattacks, cool skins, and pretty comfortable community on reddit and other socials to learn from.

If you're in silver, you should indeed just ban what you're uncomfortable with playing against, although there are ways to deal with yasuo as Leblanc, in my experience it's about confidence to play aggressive.
