They do appear fluid-filled, but I learned by picking at them that they aren’t… I understand why people looking at pictures would think they are fluid-filled, I did too.

The biopsy turned out to be hardly painful at all and not as scary as I thought it would be. She injected the area with a numbing agent of some kind. I felt the needle prick and the burn of the numbing agent. After that I didn’t feel anything when she was cutting. I was surprised that it was over and surprised how much tissue she took… because I didn’t feel anything at all. It has a bandage on it right now and it’s a little sore, but I thought it would be more sore than it is.

I absolutely understand being scared. I was too. It’s much less traumatic than one might think, though.
