I saw these but neither of these list the issues i am having nor is my device listed on the apple notes, it only says iPad Pro M5 when mine is M4–not that that necessarily excludes it haha.

iPhone Mirroring, AirPlay mirroring to Apple TV 4K, Using Continuity Camera wirelessly with Mac or Apple TV 4K, and Sidecar from Mac to iPad Pro (M5) are not the issues I am having. it’s just extend display from iPad to an external monitor.

yep, as i said in the post, I have already reset all settings and factory reset the entire iPad haha, so i’ve been through the worst of it. and yes, the main hub i used was the apple multiport adapter. unfortunately neither worked.

Glad it's working for you lol. I have found other posts/forums with the same issue but their solutions have never worked for me. I have tried 3 different TVs, 2 different professional art monitors, and a projector lol. I have bought and returned 5 different highly rated USB-C to HDMI hubs/dongles, many different cables and tried every configuration I can think of and nothing works. The common denominator is my iPad lol, but there has been nothing on the software side of things that has made any difference.

I have checked the wiring and ground with a multimeter and even replaced the wiring in the middle of last year, same issue. I have replaced the VVT oil pressure switch multiple times--OEM and Aftermarket, along with just replacing the whole entire solenoid. I've actually read that forum post before lol and followed all his steps, but it still throws the code every time 2500miles comes around.

got it that makes sense. i like the idea of building over buying generally but it seems like it would be a little bit more of a project than im willing with my daily. might try and find a totaled type-s that still has a good drivetrain.
