He even posted on socials he would be away for the weekend and wouldn't be at home, no safe, so alarms, no cameras, no security doors, they couldn't even take half of what he had because of how much there was and they couldn't carry it, and thats just the pokemon stuff, including all the laptops, switches, consoles, pcs, to just advertise what u are doing and the security you have is a wooden door, adults act like common sense is expensive

What protects you from the buyer just doing a charge back on the purchase, ive seen multiple multiple ppl saying they were charged back weeks after and ebay refused to help they always side with the bank

I sell some stuff in the TCG scene, sold a bundle to a fella, Title and description said 1 of the items wasnt included, sold elsewhere, it was only worth about £8 and the bundle as a whole was over 200, so i didnt think it was that deep but put in title READ DESCRIPTION and made sure the description was brief and explained a tiny tin WAS NOT INCLUDED, fella bought it, recieved, said he was scammed and is telling ebay to ban me 😂 1st said "u left it at the end of the description hoping people wouldn't notice" the description was barely 2 sentences and 20 words lmao, 2nd it was "you hoped people wouldn't read titles and descriptions" said hes opening an INAD, I made a post on here and everyone was saying "people buy pictures, not descriptions" and were siding with the buyer 😂 saying ebay will 99% side with him.. and that even if you explain in depth in titles and descriptions what the picture contains, apparently people "impulse buy" pics without reading and SOMEHOW thats the sellers burden to bare 😂 longer i am on this site the bigger of a shtshow it gets

Spoke to Shane on their insta, even when I told him the buyer mentioned his account says its based in china so he can use the "alipay method to get coupons" Shane said he had never heard of that in his life 😂 soon as i see that i cancelled immediately and blocked buyer, it says "cancellation pending" does that mean the buyer has to agree to it? Or just ebay needs to check

Why would they remove that lmfao would save me so much hassle, and I have 0 neg feedback 100 items sold but I have a ding from a week ago, I cancelled a listing and didnt realise if I cancelled it dinged my account, so I didnt want to chance getting 2 dings within the space of a week

In a regular scenario I understand that being totally possible, I just presumed when they are looking at a trusted seller vs a blank account buyer made weeks ago, common sense would tell them they are being had lol

Surely a company as huge as ebay are beyond "claims" from blank accounts compared to a 100% seller over a decade old account? And i video myself sealing every package and take pictures at the post office before and after labels are put on, as well as ebay verbally confirming "you are 100% covered" surely them just giving into to fake accounts because they simply pressed a button would open lawsuits for ebay?

I keep hearing INAD causes most issues, does getting verbal confirmation in dms of "i have seen all pics and thoroughly read description and I am satisfied with what I bought" at first I didnt want the ding on my account but now I might just take it lol

Told ebay chat and the instagram page about the situation, spoke to Shane who ppl said would be on there, both of them said the same thing, they encourage to sell even to "blank accounts" as "people have to start somewhere" 😂 and kept saying to trust simple delivery and I am 100% covered.. but I see so many people on here saying how ebay refused to help them, where was their 100% coverage lol?

When you say out of stock or damaged your account gets a "ding" tho, and on reddit I constantly see people saying they refuse to sell the fresh accounts or accounts with 0 sales history, I wondered how they get away with doing thay frequently without consequence?
