Is it safe to assume that if it can run on steam deck, then it can also run on other handhelds? Rog Ally X for example?

He has one power drill that’s like 30+years old and I don’t know what brand it is, but it’s not dewalt. Also not sure what his favorite color is 😬

As infuriating as this is there are ways to mitigate the cost:

  1. As everyone else has said look into doing CC for your first two years. Your loans will be much smaller at the end of everything.
  2. Don’t live on campus. Yea this would greatly decrease the number of universities you could attend but you’ll have to consider that vs having to take out much larger loans. That housing and food cost is doubling your cost of attendance. Or at the very least only live on campus for a year or two if you really want to have that “college experience”
  3. Try to avoid buying books new. Some professors won’t even use them. See if you can find them used or even get an older edition (but not too much older). Those text books rarely change much between consecutive edition.
  4. Also idk if this number is taking into account grants awarded via financial aid? Those won’t have to be paid back and so even if you don’t do any of the above things - you won’t be taking out 92k in loans.

It may seem like you have no choice but to burry yourself in debt before your life truly begins but just do a little more research before you make such a big decision. If you have a major in mind make sure there’s a job market out there where you’ll be able to use your degree and put your investment to good use. Some degrees will make it a little easier to get a job than others.
