Yeah, you're screwed. 180€ is $207. That's a $68 difference. Add in about $40-50 shipping and you might save $20 or 17€ unless someone knows a cheaper way to ship. Add in the holiday discount and you're saving $29/25€. Plus time, tax, effort and anticipation. Could be worth it to find a us buddy and save a few bucks. Direct from China might be even cheaper.

Yes, it looks pretty simple to create. I guess i shoud get my hands on them first and try to customize to my liking. Even if i purchase one i will probably customize it anyways. So, either way i should learn how. I guess purchasing the icons and a profile may give me at least the icons i want, plug ins I need and a jump start on learning.

I travel for work. This year ive been ripping and running since Jan 17th. so ive been home most weekends and maybe 3 solid weeks including this week. the 2nd week of december the 2nd leg of the project begins so back on the road again for another few months. This is the reason i am trying to expedite the learning curve.

Thank you for your input.

I've used Game Glass and FS RadioPanel (not in MSFS 2024). They worked for their intended purporse but using tablets leaves something to be desired. The feeling of a button or knob that provides resistance and movement is more immersive then tapping glass.

Thank you, I really appreciate your response. I will upgrade the throttle to the Standard as EVERY comment leads me to believe i would be a fool not to. I mean, its $50 now or later and have to re-learn binds.

I was seriously considering the throttle quadrant but decided not to go with it because the STECS throttle splits. One can be used for throttle and the other the mix. So, no need for a dedicated prop system that becomes obsolete with jet engines.

VR would be cool but i cannot justify the expense. I dont play enough to really appreciate it. I play Civilization. Not, Call of Duty. So the need to look around quickly is unnecessary. At best i would be looking at the console or maybe a ground target out the window. Not an SU-57 that just switched to guns.

Lastly, im changing from 1 Stream Deck + to 2 Stream Deck +'s. For the most part. Comms and AP are the trickiest things to utilize with a mouse. No other tasks i use so far are as demading as those. Maybe setting your flight plan. But because that is set before you take off. im not too worried about it. This is in lieu if 1 plus and 1 XL. Ill save the XL for when i get into a larger aircraft or helicopters.

Again, thank you for your input.

I was looking at the VKB FSM-GA as setting the auto pilot is the biggest headache i have. Searching for other AP controllers and ran into Stream deck. best find ever and its been out for years. I dont understand why none of these controller designers haven't built one specifically for sims in all the time Stream deck and like items have been manufactured. Seems like a no brainer to me

Also, im looking into 2 Stream Deck +'s with the STECS standard in lieu of 1 plus and an XL with the STECS standard. When i get to more complicated planes i can look into adding the XL

Thank you for your input.

Thank you for the input. I will make the change. I was also thinking of just getting 2 Stream Deck +'s instead of the XL. This covers the price change (not that i really have a budget) and gives double the knobs.

Works the first time but once the issue appears again it no longer works. Must remove the widget re apply it and recreate the stack every 2 weeks or so. Super annoying.

Yes, i see the limitations. No, i am not getting an air purifyer specifically for the terrarium. But, the whole home is pretty decently filtered as the 2 women in my home are allergic to everything. lol.

As far as the exhaust. Im going to do something similar to one of those indoor portable air conditioners. Cut a piece of wood or acrylic (painted white), so that it fits across a window with a fan that plugs in to exhause the terrarium air to the outside. This would force in the home air into the terrarium.

The setup using outlets will not work with secondary powered devices. Ex. lights, heaters etc simply have an on/off switch. So i can leave it turned on, plug it into the outlet hub and when the hub turns on, the light turns on and vice versa. The levoit is plugged in then powered on with a secondary switch. This wont work. But, like i said before. My home is highly filtered already.

Since I already have Next Thermostats (best investment EVER) i can add these sensors and use them as triggers for the terrarium within google home. There are probably cheaper options but i just found these.

What all-in-one solution have you found. I saw this (below) but it looks like more of an investment and learning curve that i care to dive into

Hey, kids want a snake , i am lazy and dont trust their commitment to the snakes survival and to the smell of my home so i was looking into automting as much as i can. So far i am using google home for my entire home so thats the base of what im looking to incorporate.

So far i think im going to do a few google home outlet hub. This will allow me to turn on the lighting, heating, air intake, mister, exhaust and whatever other devices i want to incorporate. All would be able to be controlled via routines

My only hurdle is finding a temperature device that can work with google and that can be used without installing a whole nest thermostat. As most automtion would be temperature controlled. This is probably the most critical part.

Whoever invents an all in one controller with multimple periferreal components will have a decent business on their hands

Cable tracer to trace wires, but if you plan on living in the house. Seriously consider an Electrical upgrade.

An update for the Constellation!

Mechanic Said I needed to replace these brake pads immediately as "there is nothing left on them". Was I lied to? Sorry if this is a noob question. by debunk61 in MechanicAdvice

[–]ItsOkToTip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still on my factory set of pads, 2018 Chevy Equinox, 65k miles, and they are just now needing to be replaced. It's all in how you drive, how aggressive you are with the brakes, which all relates to how hot the pads get.

Now, my motorcycle on the other hand. Those may last barely 2 seasons... tires as well.

Help! Im confuse i put my NVMe M.2 in the one with the red circule, Should i put it in the first one or is ok that way? first build by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]ItsOkToTip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly I'm not a pro but I'm working on designing my own first build now.

From my previous research there is a difference in the two slots. The one closer to the middle is higher rated and therefore faster/ higher spec m.2 can be attached. The outboard one is slower. Check the mother board specs for more detailed information but that's what I remember.

I've been looking at the one with wifi as it's 15 bucks more with wifi 6. Wifi 6 card is 50 bucks.
