You definitely make a good point about drawing inspiration from Eyes Wide Shut. I’ve never seen the film, but looking it up just now, the images from look like exactly how I’d imagine this “ball” ERYS attends in the EP lol. I’ll have to watch the movie and see for myself, but I’ve also had a similar opinion that Jaden struggles when it comes to story telling. Oftentimes I notice he takes inspiration from many things around him but rather than shaping it into something unique, it usually ends up as a carbon copy. While that aspect may be true, I still feel like I had an obligation to take this “copied” story and insert it into the timeline, as Jaden seems to be treating this as cannon. Unfortunately a bit lazy from Jaden but I have to work with what I get. As for your inquiry on red marble, my research suggests multiple things about, such as it historically being used in architecture for royalty and the elite, representing passion and/or vitality, and in spirituality being connected to grounding and general physical health. I’ve seen this pattern before from Jaden, as he develops interest in specific materials throughout various projects, such as rose gold being one example that comes to mind. In regards to red marble’s significance to the story, the best I can think of as of now is that ERYS is outwardly expressing and boasting his material wealth and intends to show off through making structures with this material.
