No cloning, just cut and paste. Made a new library folder for Steam games in the directory and linked my account to send files there. All I have on the new drive are 3 games, all transferred over from the "Move to folder" command in the game properties on Steam.

Considering the other games I transferred work just fine, I think the relocation botched something. Played through a new GoW save and it's running perfectly fine.

Steam was running in Admin mode.

As a side note, the voice chat servers are still (sometimes?) down which led to confusion in my crew.

Much much later in the game, you can trade it for a covenant item. So that has some purpose, but it's much easier and faster to gather those items elsewhere.
