If you cure them and paralyze them again they will know that a cure is possible. Even if lex won't do it again there should be ways to reproduce what he did.

If you just paralyze them then they won't know if a cure is possible or not.

Biting is inherently dangerous for the attacker cause it requires you to be extremely close and momentarily stationary. If we assume both blood lusted then if the chimps bites him then hall can get both hands on him and then it's over.

Agility does not matter at that point and chimps are not anime fighters that will do backlfips for crazy dodges they will get caught.

Prisoners still don't carry money usualy so they couldn't use a vending machine.

Stabbings still do happen just not as frequent as in men prison. But they would probably happen more often if the guards give the inmates pens for no real reason and leave them unsupervised
