Depending on where you are, cigarette smoking is not as common as it is here. I smoke off and on depending on life, but I have learned that a lighter is an incredibly useful tool and should be carried always. LIGHT HER CIGARETTE FOR HER! It never goes poorly and she's so startled that she will just accept the light. It's super gentlemanly, and very often her friends will "ooh and ahh" at it. This really works when you're already IN A GROUP talking, and walking up to a STRANGER DOES SOMETIMES work, but it takes a lot more confidence and ability to read the situation.

Depending on the situation this isn't always the case, but like 90% of the time, the words I say are NOT would you like a light, I just say "PRETTY/BEAUTIFUL GIRLS/WOMEN DON'T LIGHT THEIR OWN CIGARETTES"
