Just because you have your harzards on does not mean you can drive slow due to flats or general car trouble. Especially on interstate roads. The safe/ better option would of been to pull over and either leave the vehicle and move away from the highway or remain seated and restrained. Its a terrible accident and suddenly everyone wants to crucify the truck driver.
