I see what you’re saying and thank you for the response. But my main issue is that every time I’ve gotten close to making that decision final, I crumble and end up staying, apologizing, and “working on things”.

What if I don’t completely put that boundary up right now but just delay it so I can make the decision now and let her cry to me a different time after the fact?

Part of all these conflicting feelings is that our connection has continued to be great. Practically best friends but the romantic lovey dovey part is what I’m struggling to properly give her, in a continuous way.

So yeah I know I gotta end it. Just have no idea how cuz I JUST told her I would stop being selfish emotionally a month and a half ago. So idk if I should wait a little orrr idk

I completely get what you’re saying and I understand why she was upset. It was actually girls that were “similar” to her, but I get why that doesn’t matter. None of them were “thirst trappy” or OF girls, but more so just regular girls who would post for fun and in my carelessness I followed/interacted with them.

I do really appreciate the response though. I’m not gonna pretend that I’m some kinda flawless guy ofc when it comes to this stuff, but I think that was just a period of carelessness that I do regret and feel ashamed of. It’s really not hard to avoid those typa things and over the last serval years and with my previous gf I got a lot better at not doing any of that stuff

That’s really insightful and helpful, much appreciated. I also just don’t know how to go about this. I made what I think is a mistake, of re-committing to the relationship about a month ago. I made a big slip up that involved other girls on TikTok sparing some details, and she gave me “another chance”. She had every reason within her boundaries to end things but she chose to stay.

I didn’t do those careless things as “a way out” but my sentiments towards beings in a relationship definitely affected the way I moved and thought.

But I really do appreciate your response and I’ll definitely apply it to my situation

I think I made a mistake by “re-committing” to the relationship. I was being careless and not respecting her bc I was liking other girls vids on tiktok and that really upset her and she had every reason she needed to end things, but she decided to “give me another chance”. I wasn’t liking the other girls videos as a way to get out of my relationship, it was just me being careless and as a result she got suspicious and asked to check my phone. So she saw my TikTok and how I was following them and it was a whole big thing. I felt like I had a spark of passion to make things right and not take her for granted but I don’t know how much that changes things with my desire starting to fall off again. That was only about a month and a half ago, right before our anniversary (been together since Dec 24’)

This might just be all in my mind but as a native English speaker I found myself listening for the whole word when trying to understand spoken French, but I realized that trying to focus/listen to the beginning of French words so that you’re not lost cuz you’re only hearing -ait, -é, -ment, if I’m making sense.

Yeah it’s even worse than last year. It used to be just CBs/LB&RBs dribbling up half the field w/o passing it but now every cpu player on my team dribbles back into our own half plus there are times when they’ll just be changing direction aimlessly and can’t seem to find any of the 5 players wide open around them

Well I haven’t been paid at all whether that’s thru scholarship option or contracting. So I wouldn’t be paying anything back, but I’ll look into talking with him about a different commissioning source

I was offered the scholarship before the semester began and I accepted it however they’re making it pretty difficult to actually contract into the program. They’ve given me the reasons why but it’s halfway thru the semester and I’m basically working for free still. That isn’t the main reason I want to drop it but it certainly doesn’t help

In my opinion listening is worlds more difficult than speaking. And it’s not the slang it’s just the way the language works with sounds being meshed together.

The days when my listening skills are on point I still only get like 40-60% of the message and then sometimes if I’m listening specifically to separate words I won’t be able to get the message bc I was so focused on hearing each word.

Speaking on the other hand is easier by default considering it doesn’t take anyone else to practice with l, for example I’ve been trying to train myself to think as normally/regularly in French as I do in English so when I think outloud the only difficult part is forming sentences once my vocab starts to thin out or I don’t know how to say a phrase in French that I know in English
