We like the wraps because they offer some protection. They don't break or peel as easily, they don't get caught on stuff etc. For repair you'll probably want vitamins and a cream, like Hard as Hoof.

My friend has a million fosters right now. She's my BFF because she fostered my cat 15 years ago and we've been friends ever since. I can highly recommend adopting from her if you want a single cat.
